I haven’t done a post in a while due to school again. However, I wanna rant about about certain writing styles of writer whether there are authors of books or fan fiction authors.
If you are going to mention someone getting SA/rape whether that includes men, women, or especially a child, you shouldn’t be extremely graphic about the whole scene. And I get it we want to write the full story in full details, but when it comes to topics where people will get triggered that is where you have to cross the line, especially a child considering the fact, some writers go writing paragraphs or even pages in deep detail basically in their mind describing a whole SA situation with that said child. Which is extremely disturbing.
In the fanfic that I am currently writing about the league of villains, I am gonna be including SA but I will not be going into deep detail concerning the fact it is an extremely triggering for some people. In my personal opinion, the best way to write a SA scene is to put it into a metaphor.
