Team Rocket's Meowth -- Megumi Mizutani
When you get this, list 5 of your favorite songs, publish.
Thanks for the tag @metro-mtp :] Here's some of my favorites, in no particular order (Sorry it took so long to do this oops)
Pompeii - Bastille -- This song would play a lot on the bus ride to school around the time I got my first laptop, so Bastille became the first band I really got into and binged their discography. A lot of their music from their first two albums are nostalgic to me now :]
intellectual greed - brakence -- A more recent favorite of mine. I enjoy all the songs on this album, especially with how they flow into each other, but this one in particular has some fun sounds and lyricism to it that really scratches my brain. (It was a close call between this and Introvert, so you should toally go listen to that one too, if you like this one.)
Achilles Come Down - Gang of Youths -- I love when a song has some storytelling in it, and I love Greek mythology, so this was an easy pick for me. Idk if its confirmed or if its just speculation, but people like to think Patroclus is the one talking to Achilles here, so extra points for gay.
Even in Arcadia - Sleep Token -- Another good album with some goods sounds and lyrics. This one kinda has an epic fantasy feel to it imo.
Chaos in the Jungle - Pim Stones -- The vibes in this one are peak, and very inspiring to me as an artist and a writer. I don't really animate, but this is one of the songs that makes me want to learn.
Imma tag @babblingblend @amelias-calamity-quintet @art-in-progressosoup @louwhose @twist-dg No pressure, but I would love to hear your favorite music if you wanna share :]
"I want my media to be historically accurate"
Cool, so you want natural fiber costumes with no/nuanced corset slander, people wearing colors, historical hairstyles, people wearing hats or headcoverings and long sleeves outside during the day, no potatoes or pumpkins in pre-columbian Europe, actors with textured skin and wrinkles, minimal makeup, consulting HEMA groups and weapons scholars for all the weapons and fight scenes, a good soundtrack that includes traditional instruments?
Oh, you mean you want 100% white people. Even in crowd scenes in port cities. There's a different word for that.

it’s not weird to find fanfiction from 2021, or 2017, or 2014 that you’ve never read and actually taking your time to read it.
it’s not weird to love it and comment and leave kudos because the author will probably still see it someday and it will make them happy.
it’s not weird to like said author’s work so much that you want to go look for other fics from them.
it’s not weird to go through the authors profile and look for other fics from the ships you like (or maybe some that you’ll give a chance because you liked the author) and maybe bookmark them for later.
it’s not weird to read these other fics and like them too and comment on them because you actually like them and you want to let the author know.
it’s not weird to read fanfiction from 5, or 8, or 10 years ago and actually enjoy and engage with it because it’s perfectly normal to relate to something that’s less than a decade old!
let’s stop treating fanfiction like they’re instagram posts that stop being interesting in 24 hours! fanfiction is NOT social media, fanfiction is art!!! and art doesn’t get old in one day, one year, or even a decade!
read fanfiction! write fanfiction! comment on fanfiction! let’s not let fanculture die people!!!!!
My dad recently asked if any characters in my au are based on him. Not entirely but Harkinian is similar in some ways.
