Metaphortune

My good pal @gettinggsnowedunder made me realize I hadn't posted photos to Tumblr yet of this! This is my first tattoo. At a Hey Rosetta! show in Cleveland back in like 2011/2012, I asked Tim Baker to write one of my favorite bits of lyrics down with the intention of getting it tattooed on myself. Well, it took me ~15 years but I did it!

First pic is shortly after getting it in December 2025, the other two are from today so you can see how it's healed and settled in.

Music coming out soon, waiting on approval + a solo from a pal. Very excited to share it with people!!! In the meantime, the newest EP from Kensean is on the streaming platforms now. Woo!

My podcast Metaphoriety continues (mostly) at pace and just hit episode 10! Recent episodes include me talking about music in 3 different formats, a stand-up comedy set at a totally real comedy club, and a double episode featuring paranormal PI Dick Nills on a train and me reading my old MySpace Blogs. The podcast is on all the usual podcasting platforms, too!

Improv 301 startin' up soon, very excited to be taking it with a bunch of my classmates from 101 and 201.

Continuing on with DIY and gardening around the house, planting native plants, getting rid of non-native ones, etc. Generally trying to stay focused on things that are more in my control rather than, y'know, the world at large.
