hi everyone, sorry for the lack of updates. i ran into some issues with people who were supporting the blog a couple months ago, and it turned into a situation that pretty much drained all my motivation to continue the blog for that time.
i'd been planning on starting up posts again, but with tumblr selling art to AI, it's made me question whether or not to keep going.
for now, my plan is to glaze all my art and then try to reupload each image to the same post so it's no longer at risk of being stolen. i'll also be altering a couple of the character designs, so some panels will have some changes. after that, i really hope to continue this askblog.
i'm not sure how long this is going to take me, but i'll keep you all posted. thanks for understanding.

finals defeated, gonna spruce up the storyboard and post the finished animated segments tomorrow as well as maybe the next update! the sketch is just about done.

i am in the midst of finals atm but for those not on the discord server, i'm using Reptile for my final animation project. it's likely going to be mostly storyboarded, but there's two fully animated segments and one that's going to have cleanup and color! also lots and lots of doodles in the margins from me going insane over inbetweens and people being loud in the computer lab.
after finals are done in just over a week i'll finally, finally finish the next post and hopefully get updates done more frequently until the next semester starts. so excited for everyone to see the stairs and the epic conclusion to Hero's peanut butter quest.
thank you all for sticking around, and i hope everyone's having a good holiday season! go give someone you care about a hug and remember that you've made it this far and you're doing great!

Work on the next update has been a bit slow (stairs) but I finished the lipsync assignment! My professor really liked it, and Hero himself got a few compliments. I'll probably finish it and clean it up at some point when my work load is a bit less.
Without further ado, here he is!

Updates will most likely be slower, but I’m still working on them! Got the next one on the way for probably tomorrow or Sunday.
Also, I got to use Hero for one of my animation assignments! Once it’s done I’ll post it here so you guys can see. It’s a short lipsync test, but I’m really happy with how it’s turning out!

Not 100% if there will be an update this weekend, I've got an animation due Monday for class (among all my other homework lol). Anyone who knows inbetweens will know this thing is taking every single second of my day :']
