people who have only lost respect for Kojima because of him collaborating on an AI short haven't followed how he's always treated his talent. if he could just press a button and make a game entirely on his own without having to wait, he would. He uses his games as an excuse to meet his idols and starfuck a little, he doesn't actually care about the artists that make it shine but aren't super famous.

I love the dudes art but this is the least surprising thing in the world, AI is the exact kind of thing he would like to test in some way. I don't think it's gonna give him the results he wants, but he's not gonna ever look at new tech that allows him to do more with less people around him and snub it completely.

just read any David Hayter interview about how he had to audition to every single MGS game, only to not even get told they were making a fifth one. If Kojima's star idols start using AI, he's gonna use AI. I just wonder how Del Toro is gonna react to it.

#still mad about david hayter being replaced in mgs5 by keifer sutherland who can't voice act for shit
