I pulled communication reversed first and pulled Flourish as a clarifying card. What this indicates to me is that Mr. Y may indeed miss you very much and want to come back into your life but that he lacks the communication competency to do so. He is lagging behind you in terms of maturity and personal growth and has some work to do.

Flourish reinforces that it is best to stayed amicably parted and to focus on your own growth and success right now because now is a time for many wonderful things to bloom in your life. He may mature and return later in your life, but right now, life has other plans for you!

This would indicate to me that this past relationship is inhibiting your personal progress and growth and that his actions no longer confine you.
