Summary:

War rages on Earth and billions are dead, simply caught in the crossfire. The Monarchs, conniving and cruel, want a sandbox. The Rulers, twisted with time and no direction, want to take it from them and hoard over it. Every fight leads to more ruins, more uninhabitable land. More death.

Between the gates full of monsters trying to claw their way into their world and the gods fighting over them, civilization is collapsing and humanity is doing all it can to survive.

Jinwoo Sung, having lost everything in his world to time, knows nothing waits for him back home. He drifts in the void between worlds, something in him searches for a home to call his own, to own and to protect. Perhaps its his instincts as both Ruler and Monarch. When he brushes against the border of another world, he hears it. Countless desperate prayers, uncollected and drifting for whoever will listen, pleas for help, for mercy. There is one voice in particular that he recognizes, uncharacteristically small and losing hope. Jinwoo cannot ignore it.

-Prepping breakfast for u or letting of his shadows cook just so he can stay bit longer in bed with u (could their shadows even cook? can u even imagen that, most of them don't even fit in the house lmao)

-HUGGING AND PETTING TANK CUZ DO WE FORGET JIN WOO GOT BEAR SHADOW????? AND THE DRAGON ONE TOO- actually nvm we hugging all of them idc, those are ya'lls babies

I don't think he even consciously knows this, either. Like he won't actively kill himself but my GOD he wants to die a hero so bad. He's jumping at the bit to sacrifice himself for anyone with a pulse. There's at least one comic where he gets brought to the brink of death trying to save Lex Luthor. In MAWS he's about to let himself be killed until he realizes his friends are in danger. He jumps in front of a bullet to save Lois before even knowing he's bulletproof. In the 2025 movie he almost throws Joey to Rex because he thinks he's going to get sucked into the black hole but then saves everyone the moment he realizes it's not just him getting sucked in.
