Combat mage tasked with protecting The Candle.  I can’t remember their name at the moment.  They are incapable of expressing themselves through tone or facial expression and have very limited body language, so they use a device (the hat) to compensate for that.

This is Cal, an insectoid npc I'm hoping to use for a Gamma Worlds campaign.  I might redo his face to look more like a calyptra, we'll see

How many Pokemon do you think undergo identity crises when they evolve?

Scolipede!  It's got a cool design, sweet move set, pretty colors and is a third-stage pokemon.  All of which contribute to my superficial love of this bad-ass bug.

As a gesture of goodwill, the Triklik (seen on the bottom in it's natural quadrupedal form) had a number of volunteers undergo surgery to appear more pleasing to their first interplanetary visitors, the humans.  This mostly served to make the humans uncomfortable, but in time the Triklik's planet would become the number one destination for plastic surgery for all species.

Earliest doodles of these two goofs.  Both are of a species that have practically zero flight/fight instincts.  For Leggy, it's because it comes from a planet with no natural predators and a species that never developed fighting as anything other than a low recreational art.  For Stoveapillar, it's because its species is highly symbiotic, having nearly complete pheromone control on all species of their planet.  Becvause of this,its species is absolutely useless at doing anything for itself off-planet and has a tendency to befriend any organism that will make its life easier.

This particular species, unadorned appears as a fine mist.  But for purposes of protection and aesthetics, they will "wear" a gem that secretes a protective goo that still allows the wearer free movement

When it became apparent to a certain girl that the world was in danger of coming to an end, she decided to actively fulfill a prophecy.  This required the assistance of a hellspawn and a paradise dweller.  The Hellspawn was summoned and a contract was made, the Paradise Dweller was assigned as a "Gaurdian Angel" after the girl filled out the world's easiest paperwork.  So far so good
