"Nooooo," Mercury hummed, then grinned and sprouted a pair of nanite-created bunny ears. "See, I’m a bunny like you now!"

She gasped, hands on her cheeks. “That’s so cute! You make the most adorable bunny ever.”

"Nooo," he squeaked, sprouted-bunny ears flopping over. "Am not! I'm too big t' be cute!"

"Nooooo," Mercury hummed, then grinned and sprouted a pair of nanite-created bunny ears. "See, I'm a bunny like you now!"

"Absolutely~!" She chuckled. "My son does that melting thing sometimes. I don’t suppose you could teach him how to uh, not stay an ooze puddle?"

"Oh, is he really little?" Mercury asked, tilting his head. "Because little bitty kids have a harder time. And when you get really really sick we have bowls to nap in ‘til we can get better…. I can try if you want?"

"Yup! Caldre’s going to be turning two this year, so he’s a very VERY little one. He just does it without thinking sometimes, and I get worried he’ll fall on something." She said with a smile. "I’d really appreciate it. Now, let’s get to those tarts I promised, alright?"

"Oh, he's just a baby, then," Mercury nodded and grinned. "Sure, I c'n teach him! I'm a lot bigger so he needs my help, yeah?"

"Gross?" O.O; "I don’t quite understand. But I was just about to make a few pumpkin tarts if you’d like to be taste tester for a  while."

Just because I enjoy that kind of thing, doesn’t mean you have to. 

"Not scare, worry. But that’s my job, big brother’s worry, so little brother’s don’t have to." He returns the nuzzle affectionately. "Which means you don’t have to worry about how tired I look Mercy."

"Nooooo, but I’m gonna worry anyway," Mercury frowns. "You’re my brother.”

"I know," nuzzle nuzzle. "…but save most of the worry for me to do."

"Nope," Mercury says, and shakes his head. "Someone needs to worry about you or you'll - you'll get rust and dissolve!"

"….You look so tired when you’re asleep that I don’t want to wake you," Mercury admits, then nuzzles his brother. "I’m sorry I scare you so much, though."

"Not scare, worry. But that’s my job, big brother’s worry, so little brother’s don’t have to." He returns the nuzzle affectionately. "Which means you don’t have to worry about how tired I look Mercy."

"Nooooo, but I'm gonna worry anyway," Mercury frowns. "You're my brother."

"Play with me," Mercury says with a huff. "Obviously."

"You could just ask instead of jumping off of things all the time,” Pluto says tiredly, but he brings his brother up and presses their foreheads together. “I’ve always got time for you when you want it, you know.”

"....You look so tired when you're asleep that I don't want to wake you," Mercury admits, then nuzzles his brother. "I'm sorry I scare you so much, though."

"You’re always sleeping that’s not a good hobby!”

"I sleep because it’s better than wandering around and being stared at all day." It’s not a hobby, but now he’s wishing it was. "…what do you want me to do Merc?"

"Play with me," Mercury says with a huff. "Obviously."

"And you’d hate having to pull yourself back together after. And then I get to hear all the whining. No."

"But I’m bored!"

"There are better pass times than diving off of things. why don’t we rent one of those video game things?"

"You're always sleeping that's not a good hobby!"

"Awwww, come on!" Mercury whines and kicks his legs a little as he’s scooped up. "It’d be SO COOL!"

"And you’d hate having to pull yourself back together after. And then I get to hear all the whining. No."

"But I'm bored!"

"Fridge-diving’s gotten boring… time to try roof-diving!”

"MERCURYYYYY" Pluto goes to scoop his little brother up. "Not happening."

"Awwww, come on!" Mercury whines and kicks his legs a little as he's scooped up. "It'd be SO COOL!"
