"Anyway you can hook me up with TriQuint chip or two?" This was a text message I sent out early Thursday morning to my good friend Eric back in Southern California, an Apple Store "Genius" by title, who as educated as he is in all of Apple's technology, had no idea what I was talking about. He probably isn't the only one, truth is some of my business associates here in the town of Hillsboro, the city that myself and this company happen to operate out of, had not heard much about this company. Rather than boring you with my plagiarized wiki version of their biography, I will share what I meant by my text message, I took this out of the Portland Business Journal: TriQuint shares soar after iPhone Teardown

"Though it was a tough day for the stock market overall, TriQuint Semiconductor Inc.    came out a winner.

Hillsboro-based TriQuint’s (NASDAQ: TQNT) shares climbed nearly 25 percent Thursday after teardowns of the Apple Inc.    's new iPhone 4S found at least two of the company’s chips inside.

So this morning I was thinking of putting together something special for our 4yr Anniversary (Lucy and I). What I came up with was maybe writing out all of our text messages to each other (all the good love ones), scanning birthday cards, love notes, and pictures...  and putting them in a book, the type of book that can sit on a coffee table at home that guest would kinda look at and admire awkwardly. That seemed like a wonderful idea, a lot of thought, a lot of work, a lot of love. But than, I turned into the selfish bastard that I am and thought "wait a minute, I can make a fortune if I turn this into business!!" So I started thinking of ways to do it, and a time line appeared in my head that said I realistically had 2 months to get it fully off the ground if I wanted it out before Valentines Day. Which meant, I had to have a complete business plan along with a completed product ready to present to the Investors and VC's that I would have lined up ready to throw down a couple of bills in to this "AMAZING" idea. I would also need a decent graphics designer to carry out the concept and fix the kinks and possible shortcomings (though I doubt it). Next I would have to mobilize and get the small mom & pop gift stores and novelty shops on board. Next I would try and get a big book store to get behind the product. It all sounds like a lot of work but its totally feasible if you put the work behind it. So, before I started typing out my 2 week notice I thought, "you know, I should probably google this before I quit my job..." Just thought I'd share this with everyone... and when I say everyone, I mean everyone that argued that WORDPRESS was the better platform of all the blogs and tumblr was just a fad. Haha, I was right. And you were all wrong.
