Yep! I won't start it for a bit since I need to make a script for it and I am still in school. I am really excited to make it though and I hope you all enjoy it when I finally make it!
Can I ask what inspired you to make a mercenary academy? Like why mercenary specifically... (not hate, I'm curios)
It's actually my love for the game TF2. I always thought of making my own school mini comic and well TF2 randomly popped into my head. When that happened I automatically started working on it and well I was obsessed with the idea. Some of the teachers are actually going to be based on the TF2 Mercs as a slight homage to the game and it helping me with the idea.
Planning on working on the dorms soon but just wanted to explain this dorms are separated for all of the classes. You also mainly have a roommate who you can choose so you don't have to room with someone you dislike.

not much about MA!Sierra and MA!Oliver because I wrote most of it down, but they are yuri
Sierra in this au is "what if Sierra wanted to pursue weaponry instead of fashion." She ran away and used her savings to buy a tuition.
Oliver has snippets of their Daylight Academy au in here where they hunt small animals for fun, and in this au that hunting practice is why they're good with long range weapons.

Mercenary Academy is a huge school. It has around 4 floors and has 3 fields for sports/training. There is also a forest where students can go and train, but no one is allowed to go out there after dark. It is quite a strict school because of the want to create the perfect mercenaries. They have the school look normal in case anyone outside of staff and students come to visit as they want the idea of the school to remain secret.
Unlike students teachers can customize the base uniform as much as they want. They must have their colored band at all times though so that it is known what class they teach.
Like this. How teachers are chosen is that if an ex-student or an ex-mercenary is injured and cannot return to being a mercenary or if they just want to help teach future generations. They are put into the class they were in or would have been in to teach. Like say in the future Jennifer wanted to teach the next generation would end up being put in Light Blue.
Grey does not have a training uniform with them bro able to choose it. These uniforms for the other classes cannot be customized except for being made to fit the body type of the student.

Wanted to show something with the two members of the Grey Class I have
Most members of the Grey Class end up becoming extremely flexible and/or extremely strong to the point the can do a lot of things most people can't. It's all part of their training so that they can fight their way out of certain situations. Other classes don't know about this hence Jennifer's shock at seeing what is happening. Most Grey Class students also will train with each other during free time while most other classes train alone. I will make their training uniforms at some point but for Grey Class they wear whatever they want so they can be more comfortable with their combat.
MA!Hayati only wears the school skirt when attending classes. But when it comes to physical training, she wears pants because it works better for her. She deliberately chose the men's tie because she thinks the ribbon (on the og female uniform) is unnecessary.
Though she is in Grey Class (the category that specializes in hand-to-hand combat), MA!Hayati still does her own training with weapons because she wants to be good at everything, despite her specialty being hand-to-hand combat.
She's one of those people with "only the strongest survive" or "survival of the fittest" mindset. She takes things seriously and treats her physical strength and abilities as valuable. She hates people that uses their strength against others 'just because they like it or want to' and thinks they don't deserve to have that strength or abilities on the first place.
Aside from strength, speed and flexibility, in classβ she specializes in math, science, art, english, history, philosophy and law. But sucks in communication or socializing.
She's a natural empath, but she wouldn't admit that. She thinks showing vulnerability is weakness, but it doesn't mean she can't understand people's actions. Which is why instead of admitting she has genuine empathy, she tells herself or others that she strongly believes in Justice... which kinda works? Which is why at the "Troublesome or not", it depends on whoever interacts with her. She's neutral initially, but mess with her or people around her, she may just put you in your place. Which can be troublesome to the bullies, just not the other students.
(TW Death mentioned) The reason why she came to this academy on the first place is that she had someone close to her die. A very close friend of hers. Ever since, she lied to her parents, saying she's going to an ordinary school- when in reality she's at Mercenary Academy.
When I first saw this, I had no idea what's a mercenary, and when I searched it up, it said that 'mercenary is like almost identical to soldiersβ except soldiers fight for the country, war, etc. And mercenary fight mainly for money.' And I went like "Oh yeah, I'd totally do that for money. This works." And yah! Here's MA!Hayati πββοΈβ¨οΈ
