Chris is SO cat coded youre so right!! I think it would be fun for them to switch the roles up a bit too 😌
I think what makes Cat!Chris compelling isn't that he's aloof or mean. It's that he's p much starving for affection while simultaneously being terrified of what that affection can do.
On the surface, he absolutely has that like "moody black cat" energy. Rolling his eyes when Martin calls him cute. Sighing dramatically when Martin pulls him closer/gives him affection. Insisting he's fine, that he doesn't need to be babied, that Martin is being ridiculous. etc. etc. but none of that is actually true.
He wants to be held. He wants to be praised. He wants to curl up against Martin and stay there for hours. He wants to be loved openly and shamelessly. Its just that he's deeply self-conscious about wanting those things in the first place because he's afraid of what others might think if they saw it.
So he develops this strange push-and-pull relationship with affection. He can't ask for it bc asking would mean admitting he wants it -> but he can't comfortably accept it either, because then people might realize how badly he wants it -> so instead he exists in this perpetual state of contradiction.
TLDR; A dog runs up and asks for attention. A cat appears in the same room as you six separate times and hopes you'll figure it out. He's essentially just a walking sign that says "Please don't make me say yes out loud" while making pleading eyes at you from the other side of the room for a hug.
hiii, do u think either martin or chris would be into ageplay ? i'm sorta leaning toward martin being into that bc that'd give him oppurtunity to baby and take care of chris
... but i'm not sure how i'd see chris would enjoy it.. althougghhh,, since martin could've indulged in chris being into crossdressing, chris would be willing to indulge in some of martin's kinks..

I've actually thought about this before and I think you're right about it starting with Martin (at least a little). I always thought of it with Martin just wanting to baby Chris because he of course wants to take care of him and protect him. Like I can see Martin being the type of person who naturally gravitates toward taking care of the people he loves. Taking care of Chris is practically second nature to him. He worries about him, watches out for him, makes sure he's eating, sleeping, and generally not running himself into the ground. So I can absolutely see Martin discovering that he enjoys having opportunities to dote on Chris and getting a lot of fulfillment out of being trusted with that level of care.
Chris also I feel just has a had time letting go? Like I don't think he is a full control freak but I see him as someone who can easily stress himself out if you let him and I think Martin catches onto it/knows this.
So while I see Chris being hesitant at first (maybe even a little embarrassed by the idea) I think the appeal for him would eventually become less about being babied and more about what it represents emotionally. It's one of the few situations where he doesn't have to be responsible for anything. He doesn't have to make decisions, solve problems, or hold himself together for everyone else. He gets to hand all of that over to someone he trusts completely and just exist for a while.
All I'm saying is let that man regresssss he deserves to be baby
Basically: Martin starts it because he likes caring for Chris. Chris stays because he discovers just how nice it feels to be cared for.

martin would be something more gooey and soft... maybe like a custard filled thing,, or like chocolate filling like Lindor chocolates... i think it would be neat if they were both related to chocolate so their designs are linked to each other,, bc theyre brothers ! and thatd be cute..
in the crk universe, the animals are like food/dessert themed. there's cake hounds, berry birds, and cream critters. It'd be fun if they also did conservation and learnt about the animals in this universe too. Typing-wise, they'd probably be healer or support cookies?
aaaanywaayy im just kinda yapping LMAOO,, decided to make this au partially bc the shipping scene in the cookierun fandom is SO FUCKING lame. lots of the fandom are children, and like there's sooo much shipping discourse, and even with the slightly problematic ships people are so annoying about. Theres like ZERO incest ships with ppl who actually like them. theres a few parent/child and the like, but i've only been into brother/brother ships, and i don't think there's ANY confirmed brother relationships ?? (at least in kingdom, ik its different with the other games)

I don't know much of anything at all about Cookie Run but these are SO cute. I can definitely see Chris as a Pistachio Cookie (OH I just realized its "Krispy" -> "Chris-py" LMAO thats SO cute). You could maybe do a play on words with marzipan if you wanted to do the same pun for Martin (just an idea!). I cant help but just imagine them chasing around little, like, animal crackers too. this is so cute I love it!!
