Waiting 4 weeks for the new MTEFIL chapter was downright BRUTAL but well worth the wait. I’m really glad this chapter addressed Josh’s selfishness (even if understandable given that he was never really allowed to think for himself). I do wish we got to explore his ordinary life a little bit more, if there’s one grievance I still have with this series is that it’s pacing can be a little too fast. Some of my favorite moments are just the characters doing regular activities, and I’d love to see more of it.

I also really love Baba Yaga’s villain motivation. I respect the author’s willingness to actually have these uncomfortable conversations and challenge religious doctrine instead of flat out ignoring it or straight up making shit up. I’m really excited for this arc.
