his name represented more than just his silence than a pale demeanor. he was not one to harm others without warrant—or unless his more unpleasant side had peered from behind bloodshot eyes. he was responsible still for a high number of murders, his family included.

   His tone picked up slightly, a bit of excitement showing in it. "Oh? That is no reason for you to be left here to rot.
