Having memory issues and holding grudges is a funny combination. I don’t forgive, but I DO forget.

I belong wandering through old forest and laughing at candlelit taverns with friends. I belong frolicking in a field of wild flowers with faeries and butterflies and bees and wonderful winged folk. I belong on a ship, sailing across the seas and swimming in the waters of foreign caves. I belong in a circle under a clear nighttime sky, looking up at the full moon. I belong harvesting in gardens and sitting by a fireplace in a cozy home. I belong dancing around a fire, singing along with the sounds of flutes and drums. I belong amongst the sun and the moon.

I have fallen in love with the sea people but I must go back to the mountains to where I belong. I shall see you at the edge of every sunset.

Everyone will eventually leave, I just hope we all end on a good note, at least.

I have a short memory span, and photographs are the only way to remember those precious moments of my whole existence.

I wanna be that aunt who shows up every once in a while with her cats and no one knows where she is afterward.
