Feeling like a judge on “The Voice” when i hear a new song on spotify while studying and it sounds interesting so i drop everything to wait for the chorus, and if its good i add it to my playlist, which is the equivalent of pressing the buzzer which turns my chair.

Days that are tiring but peaceful. I love spending a day doing the things that i love, talking to my friends, meeting new people and just laughing. At the end of the day I feel exhausted, but I feel so at peace that I don’t want this day to end, i hope i could just lay in bed, with soft music playing on my laptop, with a textbook open in front of me and someone who texts you from time to time.

a cigarettes after sex appreciation post. i love how no matter what mood you are in, their songs ALWAYS fit every situation, like its a mix of sadness, upbeat, hope and a hand that slowly strokes your hair as it puts you to sleep. i love the feeling i get from them, they are like a reassuring friend when you feel lonely, someone who makes you realise how much in love you really are, someone who tells you that you are tired and you need to sleep. and reluctantly, i want to listen to them and just be at peace, let my walls down and cry in their lap as they smile and play with my hair. they are not just songs, they are my state of mind.

i love how each song by cigarettes after sex sounds identical, listening to them on repeat is like listening to a never ending song with endlessly changing lyrics.
