Honestly though, don’t fucking tell someone to just get over something or try to push away their emotions, especially for people who have difficulty feeling and expressing said emotions. You’re allowed to hurt. You’re allowed to cry. You’re allowed to be heartbroken and cry on the bathroom floor wondering how your life got to such an unexpected point. You’re under no obligation to censor your healing process because of other people. Yes, you have to move on but you have to process and feel in order to heal. Don’t invalidate the emotions of other people.
