Lab created specie, Labora Rattica Imortalen, immortal lab rats designed to participate in dangerous lab tests and give back direct input, possibly even explore hazardous areas. Project was never finished to completion, but got very close.

The remainder of their lab specie were relocated to a different lab on a different planet after the head of the project was killed and the project shut down. Gwinn was instead transferred into the care of a scientist who specially deals and cares for lab creatures. Later transferred into Cricket’s care due to Gwinn’s sudden attachment

They were the one who killed the project leader…

Albino, as most of their specie. Has purple flesh and blood. Skin has a thin layer of fur. “Pawpads” are not real and are only markings.

False ears on top of head. Real ears on sides of head like a seal, just hidden under hair and fur. False ears can still emote.

Lab species lacks private parts. They don’t need them. Also does not understand the concept of intercourse but that’s ok. They don’t need it.

Also lacks latter half of digestive system in favor of a more efficient one that can break down most things ingested to be used as energy or somewhere.

Can flush out poisons from their body through tears. Probably sweat too…? Remind them to wash their hands.

Cannot throw up (rat dna). Objects that they cannot digest need to be pumped or surgically removed.

Eats a lot to gain the energy required to heal any injuries quickly and fully, like some kind of starfish…

Due to them being ever so curious as well as having a rather skewed picture of death and dying due to being functionally unkillable, they have a little less self preservation than what’s probably healthy. Incredibly resilient when it comes to bodily harm.

One day I will need to make a separate post about their species.

Their collar rarely comes off since it’s connected into the back of their neck. It monitors their vitals, and the bauble on the front’s color usually indicates their mood. I haven’t made a color chart for that yet.

Favorite food is Cheesey Bites. A bread snack filled with cheese. Comes in many forms (microwaveable melts, toasted, classic cheese filling, pretzel, etc)

Heavily food and praise motivated.

Obsessive over Dr Cricket and WILL get jealous if someone tries to get too close to them or threaten their place as Best Friend with them. Luckily Cricket is naturally introverted and does not mingle often with coworkers. Cricket is one of the few people allowed to call them Gwinnie

Very good at cleaning. At some point while out of the lab for reasons, they have their own cleaning service to earn money.

I made this rat for gore purposes despite that I don’t know how to draw accurate bones or where organs are located. :/ I also haven’t drawn gore of them yet. Whoops-

Lime Cricket

Genderqueer - They/Them

Bug inspired specie from a militaristic planet. Used to work as a scientist to design weapons for battle. Has since left that planet and does not plan to ever look back.

Scientist who specializes in rayguns. They were specially hired and do not have direct orders of what to specifically work on, so they mostly mess around with their own personal projects to see how far they can go with it.

Sugar diet. Mostly fruits but can eat other things. Usually drinks syrup or eats juicy sugar candies or jelly, though some brands are often made with unhealthy sugar even for them. Eats alone.

Purple blood. Antennae glow with intense emotion or manually to be seen in the dark. Possibly used to communicate without words and from afar.

Has scarring around corners of mouth where mandibles were torn out long ago. Frequently wears masks to cover these scars. Generally, only Gwinn is allowed to see them without the mask.

Base clothing is usually black. Usually does not wear shoes within the lab unless for lab safety.

Was supposed to have a personality akin to GLaDOS in their tests but my pea brain said, but they’re just a lil introvert with a best friend and they might die for each other!, so now they’re just kinda sadistic but not overly verbal about it. Idk

Yunane Lace-Pholdner “Nane”

Nonbinary/Indifferent - They/Any

Designed as a “Player character” sort of stand in?

Unknown humanoid plant species. Denies this. Believes themselves to be a human.

Absolutely does NOT get enough water and sunlight.

Raised by elderly human gardener/flower shop couple.

Owns many succulents and ivy plants

Believes they have pica. (They eat dirt and random sticks they find.. because they’re a plant)

Ears used to be pointier. Cut them short to look rounder and wears cuffs to hide the scarring. Unsure if I’ll keep them white or silver.

Has leaves and bumps that follow down their back along their spine.

Probably has a bunch of small tattoos or tattoo-like markings all over their body in the shapes of pretty flowers, vines, and leaves.

Not allergic to color but does prefer their everyday wear to be monochrome and mostly grey so idk

Will wear a little bit of everything. Sometimes has phases on what clothing they’ll wear for a while.

GIVE HIM HUGS. GIVE HIM HUGS. HE CONNECTED TO CAFE WIFI AND LEARNED ABOUT HIS HUMANS. HE’S TRYING SO HARD TO BE GOOD NOW. LOOK AT HIM GO. I LOVE CAINE SO MUCH. GIVE HIM HUG HE DESERVES IT. Ok Caine love aside—

Even if the circus cast and the real world selves are separate and they will never “escape” like they all originally wanted to. I think it’s nice to know that they’re working with what they have to make their circus lives better for everyone. Smth just like Goooseworx said for people to take away from the show, “That there’s meaning to be found in a stagnant life”. Ya ya ya ya

So sad that they’re really only brain scans and that their real selves might never become friends like how they are in the circus. But that’s ok. They’re different people with different experiences now. And besides, the circus cast have the comfort and closure that their real world selves are living their best lives.

Yooooooo real life Zooble having a bar named Triangle with a pink triangle symbol and literally their avatar head is a pink triangle this whole time????? Yooooooo. Also their avatar body which they swap out parts for often which mimics their bar’s house drink which changes every day?????????? Ship of Theseus style??? This is like the coolest thing to me out of all the cast member’s real world selves.

I feel so bad for Jax feeling like he needed to push everyone away to protect himself because the first time he was vulnerable to someone it backfired and he was afraid of it happening again.

I think I remember a theory was that Jax hit a child in the real world and that’s why he was afraid of going back and that’s why his room looks all girly, to remind him of that. I mean, a girl did still get hit by a car (I assume Gangle’s accident was being hit by a truck), it just wasn’t a child or Jax’s fault.

Also I still wanna believe they might become friends in the real world somehow. I dunno where all the brain scans are located or how they’re running without anyone checking in. But Grant (Kinger) or someone from his coding team must still have the files since they connected to cafe WiFi for Caine to use. They all have the connection of getting those brain scans done, so something could possibly stem from there if Grant can at least recognize them out in the wild. Also real world Jax visits the Triangle, so they’re def acquainted with real world Zooble at least somewhat.
