a final message!
Hello everyone! This is Mel speaking! It’s been 6 years since I last actively used tumblr (I did not pass away or ghost. Technically I did... but hear me out). First, I wanted to thank the almost 2k followers that did not unfollow my account and stuck with me until now. Thank you so much for your support!! A lot happened in my life in these years but I’ll keep it simple in this small message. To keep it short, I decided to delete this blog. Volfield (and other previous cringe-y urls I had) was a very special time to me, that marked my teenage years. I was obsessed with reblogging pretty graphics, joining fandoms and mostly sharing to you what I loved. I was extremely closed off to people, everyone made this a safe and comfortable place to me when I was having a rough time. This decision came to me only now, because once in a year I dropped here just to see how the tumblr world was still going, but only now I decided to fully commit to this final step.
I’m still happy to see beautifully edited graphics, but the passion of keeping up a blog, posts and a schedule just isn’t there anymore. This started when I was in school, now I finished college and working as we speak. Though this visit and message brought some love to the website, and decided to keep my old personal blog, that I kept for aesthetics and illustrations. Still needs a makeover but feel free to visit and follow if it’s to your liking. I’ll delete the blog as soon as I change my e-mail and transfer everything to my personal blog.
