i feel like we need to have the discussion that some of this fixation on how to prevent minors from interacting with adult content gets into a very uncomfortable keyboard warrior space. like, you're not in charge of every single minor on the face of the earth. if you have kids, you're in charge of them. if you take reasonable steps to keep kids away from your mature content, then you're fine. there's a whole wide world out there of people who don't care even 10% as much as that, and sitting on tumblr navel-gazing about this isn't helping a single person. if you're obsessing about mature/adult content to the extent you feel like you're unsafe on your own blog, that is a self-imposed restriction and it's probably concealing another emotion or motive. like i understand this sounds harsh, but it's incredibly self-centered to think about your impact, positive or negative, to this extent and it's not healthy.

You’re all very young and it shows, when you’re older you’ll look back at this and wonder wtf was I doing.
