Damn, it looks like he’d moved too slowly in activating No Face May King before attempting an escape. He’s been caught, and inevitably he feels a sense of dread in his stomach as she slowly turns around to face the fellow Archer with about the same air as someone who’s attending their own funeral. However, upon catching sight of the bag in her hand, as well as its contents--The Archer of Sherwood froze in his tracks, and found himself falling silent.

....Well, it was more the fact his throat had tightened up so badly that he couldn’t even speak even if he wanted to. Anxiety gnawed away at him like a starving rat, and his stomach churned as he finally managed to swallow the lump in his throat hard. It did little to help, but he could at least force himself to speak now.

     “Are you confessing your forgetfulness, sir Hood? I’d rather you have a mind for retaining memories over scandals, Nottingham has more than enough.”

     Marian shifted her weight onto her right foot, and despite her words her eyes hadn’t left Loxley for a moment.

     “I do hope you return Duty’s calls, she’s been frightfully upset without you. Were you aware that necessary would cause this reaction?”

“We could cause a scandal here and now, I’m fairly certain I’d give the whole of Nottingham something to gossip about for months.”

He winks to add to that little flirtatious comment, unable to bite back a lopsided grin.

“Now why would I go and carry on a torrid affair with Duty when I have you, my lady?”

Aaah, but to business.

     “I’m afraid you and I both know I’ve done far worse over a scoundrel like you.” Oh, damn him. “What on earth compelled you to do that in the first place, Robin?”

“Oh? And pray tell, what sort of unladylike things have you done for this scoundrel? I’ve always an ear for scandals.”

Heh, look at that. She really did go and call him one!

“Who is it that is glaring–I, myself? I would never. What on earth could have caused such a reaction, a situation, where I may hypothetically glare at you, I wonder? I haven’t a clue.”
