Wavess!! me again but i am now curious to your answers to this, whats your list of regions from most to least liked and your favorite characters in them :3
Thank you for question!! So here is my short essay on this topic (I actually really like to chat about all sorts of things, although I don't do it often)
My favorite region is Fontaine. The underwater locations are a bit uncomfortable for exploration and fights but this region introduced characters I simply fell in love with. It's wrioney of course.
Next comes Mondstadt. A region I can call home. After all new locations it feels like coming home after a hard day.
And my favorite character from there is Venti. Unfortunately I started playing Genshin after his banner ended but I came specifically because of him.
At first I took him for a pretty girl, but I wasn't at all upset when he turned out to be a pretty femboy (｡・//ε//・｡)
Nod-Krai was a breath of fresh air upon release. I was thrilled to explore the new location and meet new characters (even if the Archon's quest wasn't my favorite in the end).
But Jahoda is too cute kitten for me to resist.
I'm a big fan of Japanese culture so I really like Inazuma overall.
Yoimiya is my favorite character after Lyney. To describe how much I love her you just need to know that when she appeared in quests I could burst into tears from how fun, good, sweet and kind she is.
Sumeru is beautiful and the arabian nights vibe is simply gorgeous, but the desert and the aranaras kill any desire to explore this location (´；ω；｀)
Layla is just a sweet little sun (moon???) who just needs a good rest and the other Layla is incredibly mysterious.
I love Liyue for it's vibe, and Zhongli of course (he's amazing), but my first favorite was Beidou. She was in my team for a very long time while I was at low ranks. Strong woman are beautiful ᕙ( : ˘ ∧ ˘ : )ᕗ
Let's just not talk about it...
I was very disappointed with how that region turned out.
The characters there are beautiful, but they don't resonate with me at all.
It's too early to talk about Snezhnaya, but I'm really looking forward to the Tsaritsa's arrival. As a Fatui fan I simply have to get her!
