A drunk headcanon.

Meg knew how to drink. Dancing was another thing. 

Sure, once someone had enough booze in them they were almost unstoppable and Meg was no exception to that rule. Still, she doubted with the weekend coming up Farren and the others would be out for the typical scenes Meg indulged in as a student. After all, she wasn't a kid anymore. She was an adult doing adult things. "Adult things." she mumbled under her breath. Truth was, Meg was still trying to figure out what that meant. 

Keeping her usual brisk pace, Meg only slowed when she passed the bakery. The decadent smells filled the air and she could almost taste the sweet and sour apples in a crisp apple pie. She wasn't here for food, though, and instead hopped up the steps to Boutique. When she opened the door it was like walking into another world. Gowns of silk and sequins adorned the walls, gold and silver twinkling against the fabric. The shop smelled of roses and warm chatter bubbled all around her. Somehow, Meg felt out of place all the while feeling like she belonged. It didn't make much sense but then again, neither did Farren. She had a clever way of making people feel welcome in the strangest of places.
