This is the kaiju design blog of @prassio. Kaiju (ζͺη£) are giant creatures like Godzilla and Ultraman. The monsters in this blog belong to the same world and interact with each other. All the kaiju get little phylogenetic classifications in their profile but I donβt think we got ones for Kaitengu, Zabudon, and Sfigon. Can we see those?
Yes so the current "cover/spread" setup started with #04 so those three there's only have a cover style illustration. I'm planning on posting up to #10 and then remake those models from scratch; there's a lot of room for improvement and I've been wanting to have another go at them. Plus I'll add their parasites!

Heyo! Saw the new posts, and its fantastic to see you still working on this! I remember when I first came upon Kaitengu and now you've got just a wonderfully weird roster of kaiju! I adore all the new ones too, Elephas Bird being potentially my new favorite! Saguwar is also fantastic as well!
thank you! i took breaks from posting but i never stopped sketching. all of these kaiju have some years of sketching and reworking done before being shown online. as for those two you can check their tag to see older drawings of them!
As much as I love the new 3d models, I hope we'll still be seeing your amazing 2d art for these kaiju in the future- and really looking forward to finding out more about the project and story soon, too!
thanks! my process still involves 2D, especially sketching (i'll post them) but the reason i can put these out so fast is because of 3D! back when i was drawing them it would take me really long and i would lose momentum.. other parts of the project will be illustrated so it's not all gone!
