The couscous is boiled  in stock, the root veg is roasted with rosemary, and the beetroot is marinaded in malt vinegar. Remove the beetroot and add some beef or chicken to make it non-vegetarian!

Strawberry Porridge This is an absolute winner: 30g porridge 200ml sugar free cranberry and raspberry juice (or mixed berry) and some cinnamon on the hob, with a handful of berries thrown in once it's cooked is the most satisfying breakfast for a mere 150 calories (give or take depending on the juice and how enthusiastic you are with 'handfuls' of berries)
Ham Haddock and Broccoli Risotto As far as healthy filling meals go- this is the one. Rice used for risottos, whether arborio or carnaroli, is so low in sugars that you can eat a bowlful and feel guilt free! I followed the first recipe for a basic risotto that I found online, cutting out the wine, oil and cheese (but adding more spices and herbs to substitute flavour) and I gotta say, it was delish! I baked the haddock for 20 minutes, then chucked it in the risotto with the broccoli and ham for 20 more.
