I finally finished the fem Kyojuro counterpart! :D
So here is everything together. I could've flippped Kyojuro's so that they are kinda looking at each other but whatever. There was no motivation left after her hair. I really like how it came out but damn, that was way to much work.

Art block and school stress really did a number on me.. so much so that I have'nt drawn anything besides little doodles since 4 months.
So, to get back, I finally finished this BingQui pice I started like 2 years ago. I redid the old coloring but didn't change the line art. I'm not to happy withe the faces, in the sketch they looked so good, but then something must've gone wrong doring the lineart
Idk, I'm still not very motivated to draw and also have some of my big exams left in the next few weeks. Hopefully Mermay can motivate me :')

Currently working on another Akaza piece that belongs to the Alp!Akaza 'verse I came up with during AkarenWeek. This is what I imagine his true form to look like (Alps can shapeshift) while his version in my last piece is his more often used, mostly humanoid form. You can imagine him having a peach like "fuss" (soft mini hair/fur) everywhere that becomes proper fur in some places. I'm still unshure about what to do with his tatoos because of that...
The close up is done (maybe I'll dull the coloros a bit) but I still have to do the full body...

Akaren Week Day 7: Free Day / Horror

I'm a bit late for the last day, but I did manage to do all prompts I wanted to, so I'm happy with me. Akaren Week got me out of my Art Block! :D
I don't know if you can count this as horror. I do, kind of? At least it must be very horrific for Kyojuro to become a demon and then be forced to eat human meat.
Also, I put so much effort into Kyojuro's hair, covering that with Akaza's hands makes me kinda sad, so I posted the version without the hands as well :3
Akaren Week Day 6: Clothes/Costume Swap
Because I couldn't decide, what crossover to do, I went with this prompt. Akazas clothes are pretty revealing and I think that someone like Kyojuro would be very uncomfortable in them. Plus he's taller than Akaza so his clothes might be a little extra tight!
And once again I couldn't help myself with all the scars...

Akaza is supposed to be an alp that keeps bothering Kyojuro in his sleep. I'll definitely come back to this because I have some more ideas for this in my head.

An Alp is a creature from German Folklore. It sits on its victims chest at night and makes itself heavier and heavier. Because of that the victim gets really bad nightmares. They can also shapeshift, wich is why Akaza looks mostly human here. Also a little fun fact I learned: The german word "Alptraum" (=nightmare) originates from the word "Alp".

Akaren Week Day 3: Scars
Did I maybe overdo it with Kyojuro's scars? Yes. Do I regret it? No, because it was fun. I feel like Akaza'd view Kyojuros scars as a sign of his strenght so this feels very much in character.
Last year I tried to turn malachite into a person..
For anyone interested: She's wearing all the jewelry because malachite is often used as material for jewelry. The stuff made of copper is there because malachite appears alongside copper in nature. She has the green eyeshadow because the acient greeks used malachite powder as such eyeshadow. And lastly the small details on the copper pieces are there because in the middelages and in acient times a mixture that, besides other ingrediens, included malachite powder, was used for the solder of filigree gold work. This is what Wikipedia says so I'm sorry, if it's not entirely true. I hope it is
