HOWEVER, if you see me reblog an AI piece, know it was accidental & PLEASE tell me so i can delete it & block the account—there are FAR too many talented artists in fandom for me to unintentionally promote the uncreative losers who hide that their work is AI & refuse to risk putting their heart into work as other creatives give so freely & generously.

i hate AI work. look, i don’t deny i’ve fallen for AI art or that you can get it by me. i do, however, feel an immense grief for artists & art lovers now that we must question the humanity or lack thereof in making something that is meant to be something that connects us as human beings.

also bc i’ve watched this happen—please remember the sunk-cost fallacy. if you use AI now, you can still stop. there is still time to change your mind. still resources to spare. i used chatgpt three times when writing my self-evaluation at work last year. i ended up editing it so much that i could have done it based on samples without AI.
