Mobilus x Fire City. Today, we came together to WOD in memory of Doris, who lost her fight to cancer. Doctors gave her only a few months to live. But she fought on for 5 years. So it was rather apt for today's WOD to be called "Fortitude". RIP, Doris. You fought a good fight. #CrossFit #cffirecity #wearemobilus

Brutal WOD is brutal. Even though I did a scaled RX version of 44 reps of everything, my palm started bleeding during toes to bar. Try to ignore it, but you simply cannot ignore a hand that is dripping blood while doing thrusters. So when to wash it, put a plaster on and continued. The most important thing is I managed to finshed it in 39 mins. I'm not sure how though. Lol. #CrossFit (at Crossfit Fire City)

Sometimes I'm asked why I pay for CrossFit when I can do it anywhere. At home or in any normal gym. But paying for CrossFit is not only about getting the correct training from a coach, access to good equipments and good programming. You also get a family. A family that supports you, that cheers you on, A family that checks on you when you don't show up. A family that celebrates your PRs and comforts you in your defeats or when you have a bad WOD. A family that helps you stay on track and reach your fitness goals. Ain't no other gym memberships gonna give me this. This, is why I pay to #CrossFit.
