But as sonic got closer to victory he had to frantically construct a slapdash endoskeleton and crude neural network just as a last ditch attempt to hopefully slow him down if nothing else
And after seeing how effortlessly sonic dispatched of the cheap imitation Robotnik became obsessed with not simply copying sonic, but surpassing and supplanting him
To build a machine so truly divinely cruel and vile it could serve as the ultimate counter to any of Sonic’s interference
No not only create Sonic’s rival, not only his superior
But to achieve apotheosis
The perfect synthesis of flesh and steel
A being with no equal
No gods, and no masters
To create
The ultimate lifeform
Horrifically echoing the work of his late grandfather
Only this time nothing would prevent the horrors that would arise from this abhorrence unto the very nature of creation
