It is nice that Save is finally coming clean to Guy about why he did what he did.
And not only that, he is also acknowledging that their desperation was no excuse to hurt Guy's feelings.
But the thing is, not everything is a lie. Along the way, Save did catch feelings for Guy. Because Save, for all his faults, have never doubted Guy's sincerity and in a way, that helped make Save seriously weigh those feelings.
But most of all, I love that in the face of Guy's valid concerns on Save's sincerity, Save decides to be absolutely honest.
Excuse me while I swoon ππππ
So, you see, Grandpa really has his heart in the right place.
Because if you think about it, it really was Save's idea to use his "dates" with Guy for Grandpa's reference. Still, Grandpa did agree to it, hence his sincere apology to Guy.
Luckily, Guy is really such a great human and friend. It really does not take that much for him to forgive Save and Grandpa.
Still, it is a good idea to let Save court Guy a little. Makes things a bit fairer lol
Grandpa might be conservative, but I think he does approve of his future grandson-in-law π
I love that even though Save didn't directly told their friendgroup that him and Guy are basically in a lover's spat right now, they are all still happy enough to lend their support (beside the all-knowing smiles they throw his way lol).
And they really showed a united front to keep this ship afloat lol
The three stooges really said, nobody can sink this ship π€£π€£π€£

Magic Move episode 9
i still love this show to bits. this is the second show i watched recently (after mgiablw) where a villain used ai manipulation to hurt our protagonistsβas much as i hate that this is the world we live in, i'm glad that these shows are showing the dangers of ai and how these scams work. it's all dependent on making people scared and worried about their loved ones. i especially liked that in both cases, the response of the other characters was not negative, but instead they recognized that the scammees only fell for the scam because of their love and how much they care.
anyway, ritt and itthi really are perfect for each other, they're just in denial about it π i was like, i see you, ritt, you LOVE casting yourself as the misunderstood tragic figure, when in actuality, you were the one who started the whole thing! it's so much fun to watch. i can't wait to see what happens next!

Wu episode 7
this is by far my favorite episode so far. all the lore-heavy stuff isn't really my thing, but two souls trapped in limbo together for a whole episode? HELL YEAH THAT'S MY JAM. not to be that guy but maybe getting stuffed with pete's cock would fix niran's depression. you never know until you try! π€
Fake Fact Lips episode 9 (finale)
lovely episode, a good way to end the story. i really like that they told the other guy about their relationship and that they finally found it in themselves to put their feelings into words π overall a good show, though probably not very memorable in the long run.

A Dog And A Plane episode 4
this show is really growing on me!! this episode was so much fun! the revenge on lion was hilarious, but what i loved most about it was that we got to see kanit and veha actually heartbroken by lion's actions. that pain was neither downplayed nor used for laughs, which i super appreciated. ngl when akki comforted veha, he instantly became my favorite character. love me an annoying menace with a heart of gold. the akkiveha backstory is RIGHT up my alley!!! tiny little veha in love with akki and akki never noticed him πππ i am so glad veha gave akki a piece of his mind about that, because it really is a bit demeaning that akki is suddenly noticing him now that he finds him attractive, and that he never gave a shit about veha back when he didn't. can't wait to see how they're going to grow closer! i already know the sex will be insane π

Ticket to Heaven episode 3
this show is incredibly beautiful. but again, not my scene, not my religion, not my trauma. i'm happy to be watching it because the show is good, but i don't have anything to say.
Shades episode 3
the plot thickens! i am so here for earnbelle π belle being plagued by the Gay Thoughts while earn was wearing that sexy cat costume was so freaking hilarious. the thing with checking everyone's phones was straight out of a horror movie. i don't know if this show is going to be making a point out of the constant surveillance and pressure these girls are under, but even as it is, that's already terrifying enough.
Ticket to Heaven episode 4
oh my god i KNEW that that scar was plot-relevant! i fucking KNEW IT!!! that said, damn, that backstory was heavy. can't wait for the angst to set in next week!
The Edge of Horizon episode 1
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH IT'S HERE!!!!! YAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSS YAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS YAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! i have been waiting for this!!!! this could be the new love in the moonlight. please be good please be good please be good πππ
i am SO happy to be seeing ongsa and inn again, and them playing a couple is the perfect cherry on top. i adored both of them in their previous works, so i am super excited someone saw their potential and hired them for this. their on-screen chemistry is FIRE. they really do remind me of pearlpeak in litm, the sweetness and deep affection is just so palpable, while there is that wonderful sense of tragedy suffusing all of it. LOVE IT.
at the exact moment i was thinking about how much this show reminded me of the masked hearts, they gave us a khon scene, and then a scene of our two mains taking the place of those khon characters in order to flirt. the masked hearts energy is truly off the charts!!! and of course, THE TRAGEDY OF IT ALL. oh my god i love angsty period dramas. literally when this episode was over i was kicking my feet and doing my best not to scream because i finished this at half past 12 in the morning and didn't want to alarm the neighbors. but OH MY GOD. i wanted to scream so badly. this is MADE FOR MEEEEEEE!!!!! πππ
Sunday, June 21st
Payback episode 4
no fuaiz in this episode except for flashbacks ππ it was okay though because this episode finally managed to make me invested in the main story. jay and sun being freak4freak is SO important to me π₯Ή jay finally came across as a real character and not as a failure of a vegas-wannabe. jaysun having slept together 5 years prior and jay being obsessed with finding the mystery guy again is just incredible. absolutely insane, perfect, no notes. bonus points for that being the only time that sun ever bottomed?? i know it's probably not going to happen but i think he should top jay, tbh. i think that might fix jay. it would definitely not fix sun, but hey, can't have everything π
Crazy Love MooMoo episode 7
this show is so much fun. it always makes me laugh so hard! boss is SUCH a gifted comedian, every time he has a punchline or a physical comedy scene, he just absolutely nails it. noeul is doing well with the genre too but boss is killing it! moo's sister was HILARIOUS. her entire aesthetic is lakhorn villain, but there is a real sense of love and care between her and moo, it's super sweet. and tbh i think getting humbled is doing fu good π
Enemies With Benefits episode 8
i wanted to shout, no, don't let that asshole blackmail you!! but i guess it wouldn't have helped. man, the way this show just gets the inherently abusive nature of hierarchies. korn is getting away with every vile thing simply because he knows how to play the systemβwell, not for long, i hope! i need lal to crush that man. i want her to rescue wine princess style because wine deserves it. if the preview is any indication, chances are good that this is actually going to happen next week π
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 11
i don't have much to say. i still adore this story. the way they raised the stakes was a bit clumsier than what i'm used to from the writing of this show, but i'm glad they at least didn't make any of the characters fight or break up to up the tension. can't wait to watch the final episode!

Flower Boy episode 5
i finally managed to keep watching this. due to all the shows currently airing, flower boy really isn't that high on my watch listβfittingly, i kept thinking about love in the moonlight while watching. flower boy is a bit too tame, almost? pearlpeak thrive on angst and heartbreak. i need higher stakes in this show! that said, they are both so gorgeous. a feast for the eyes!
Flower Boy episode 6
mh. i think maybe ray and gaysorn should explore each other's bodies πππ sorry. i have one setting and it's "what if these hot guys made out?" π thank god we've reached the heartbreak stage of this story, like i said above, pearlpeak need angst to really thrive.
Tuesday, June 2nd
Girl Rules episode 12 (finale)
cute! i don't have much to say about this. like i said in last week's post, this show is popcorn to me. i had a lot of fun with this show but i will have forgotten half of it in about a week.
Wednesday, June 3rd
Magic Move episode 7
for a weird little pulp show that no one is watching, this thing is damn good. like. i know i said i don't like the drawn-out lying but what they're doing with it is actually interesting! ritt is starting to get nightmares about it (as he should, because the guilt is eating him up inside), he's literally being blackmailed now and has no one to turn to because he failed to come clean when he had the chance. his pain, guilt and fear are deeply compelling! the preview seemed to confirm that itthi already knew about the deception, which is basically the only way this whole thing makes sense, and i am SO looking forward to the falling-out that all of these lies will surely cause π the side couple is utterly adorable. i can't believe they're still in the "awkward flirting" phase after fucking nasty on mom's sofa π
Thursday, June 4th
Wu episode 5
this episode reminded me of the dark dice, but unfortunately in the way that made me go "man i wish i was watching the dark dice right now" the whole time. i think the thing about tdd was that there was a lot more emphasis placed on the characters and character dynamics, and that just compels me so much more than lore-focused storytelling. (also poon in that outfit. π΅βπ«) anyway, this show is good, i just think i might not be the right audience for it.
Friday, June 5th
Fake Fact Lips episode 7
this is a rare case of me wishing an episode was longer. what do you MEAN i'll have to wait until next week to see them again?? π«π« i know that this subtle angst is the point of the story but it makes me SO NERVOUS, oh my god i need these two idiots to be happy and smiling and in each other's arms RIGHT!!! NOW!!! πππ i am super excited to find out whether they'll ever make their relationship official, because not being able to tell other people they're together doesn't seem to be conducive to their happiness.
Saturday, June 6th
Love Upon A Time episode 11
OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. this show is so fucking good it's not even real. wow. i am in utter awe. i do not have words to describe how perfect the writing of this show is. khun's depression upon returning to the present, (seemingly) having lost the love of his life, was done so right. thee and pun getting closer as a result, since they were both so worried about him?! THE BEST CHERRY ON TOP THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN US. when khun and phop's present self just missed each other in the final scene i was SCREAMING. i was literally chanting blessed, blessed, blessed when the episode was over. truly the show of the year. wow.
Crazy Love MooMoo episode 5
there's like 10 shows airing on saturdays, and i only had enough time for one single episode after work and chose this show. and i think it was the right choice! i am honestly surprised that fu and moo moo ended up solving their issues so quickly, i thought the chase would take longer! but i am not at all opposed though, haha π can't wait to see these two idiots trying to keep their new relationship a secret at work when both of them are the worst liars in the world and terribly unsubtle π
Sunday, June 7th
Payback episode 2
this show is so good. i don't have much to say. fuaiz is killing it as always. i love that every character is a little bit batshit: sunny, whose whole personality is stolen off other people (including his name, lol), the boss who beats up a guy for hanging out on the rooftop terrace, and of course sun, who pulls a knife on a casting director during an audition. incredible cast of characters, i am SEATED.
A Dog And A Plane episode 2
this show is so much fun. i'm so happy to be seeing taynew going back to their dark blue kiss roots, bickering and antagonizing each other as a love language while being insanely horny really suits them π idk how explicit this show is going to be, but if jojo loves me, he will show them wrecking kanit's apartment while fucking at least once.
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 7
oh my god, i can't believe save and guy FINALLY managed to kiss! π i am weirdly obsessed with the couple in the novel, i'm hoping we're going to be seeing more of them. everyone in the family is still adorable as hell. i love this show!!
Enemies With Benefits episode 6
this show is a hoot! the chemistry between jan and jingjing is FIRE. also, nothing like a good company outing to cause colleagues to have drunken one night stands π€ i am SOOO here for kapookciize. ciize has a vibe that's just incredibly magnetic. you can't look away from her! also i'm really looking forward to seeing more of wine's tragic backstory, because if anyone deserves to be hugged and comforted, it's her. bring on the whump!

Monday, June 8th
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 8
oh man, the heartbreak! i truly love how close everyone in the family is, and that despite that, there are still deep wounds that haven't been addressed. save's conversation with uncle sun was deeply movingβi've seen this so often (in my own family too) that people treat their own children very differently from how they're treating their grandchildren, and that there are real double standards for expected behavior. it looks like next week this conflict is going to come to a head, with sun confronting his father and snow confronting her father, i am extremely excited to see how the family will handle those conflicts! also, guy is the best boy ever and has never done anything wrong in his life π
Flower Boy episode 7
oh the melodrama. i'll be honest, i didn't need that many scenes of bussaba being tortured to get the point across. this episode reminded me a lot of runaway, the major difference here is that khwan became a vengeful ghost after being murdered and buried in the earth and bussaba's soul just wanted to help her son. i think she deserves some revenge, too, though. it's unfortunate that this show completely failed to make scentgaysorn a compelling ship, because there's absolutely no reason to want these two to end up together. at this point, mekin really is a better option. or just like, anyone who isn't scent ππ man i miss love in the moonlight...
Your Dear Daddy episode 5
i watched this on the train while i was extremely tired (shout-out to deutsche bahn for turning a 7-hour journey into a 10-hour one, this is why we love you π), and i almost fell asleep during the first half. luckily, we then got a kidnapping, a kid getting shot, ptsd flashbacks, ta nannakun as the abusive ex (INCREDIBLE that someone on here figured that out just from seeing his shoulder two weeks ago!!), and saitharn walking towards a cliff intent on killing himself. love me some high stakes and lakhorn-worthy drama! π also can i just say, when the fuck did ta get so HUGE?! π³ i saw those shoulders and was like, holy SHIT that boy's been hitting the gym HARD!! i fear that to me, both ta and barcode will always be the tiny babies they used to be on kinnporsche, no matter what they do π hey, remember when ta and barcode made out on dff? man, those were some good times.
Love of Silom episode 8
i don't think anyone involved in this production actually understands the concept of beer pong π this episode came so close to recreating the kinnporsche insanity but never actually got there, sadly. like flower boy, this is a show that is constantly reminding me of another, better show that i could be rewatching instead. my stand-in, i miss you so much πβ€οΈ
Tuesday, June 9th
Ticket to Heaven episode 1
i know nothing about catholicism, so this show is not very high on my list of priorities. fittingly, at the start of the episode, i had to look up what "ordained" even means. i'm glad i could watch this one at home, though (that's what yesterday's ten hour train journey was about), because i am certain this does hit better on the big screen rather than on a tablet. and hey look, it's that child that's in every show lately! love that kid! he's so good at crying pathetically π
Ticket to Heaven episode 2
fourth is so stunningly gorgeous, it's unreal. like. so many shots of his face where my jaw just dropped because he is that beautiful. this whole show is gorgeous. in terms of content, i don't have much to say. this isn't my scene, i don't have religious trauma, i'm not the target audience for this show.
Wu episode 6
another show for which i am not the target audience. then again, we got great being tortured by evil!great, which must be one of the sexiest things that have ever happened on gmmtv. i could take them π however, i spent the rest of the episode contemplating whether i should actually do a dark dice rewatch.
Shades episode 1
let me tell you, i was completely unprepared for that damp panties shot. wow. cinema of all time. the dark gl era is upon us and it is GLORIOUS. mook is so fucking hot. jesus christ π³ i just looked it up and found out that the screenwriter (title nirattisai) is credited on a bunch of shows i really love, which is a really good sign! i am so seated for this show π
Wednesday, June 10th
Magic Move episode 8
i was cackling while watching this. ritt going full drama queen when the lie came out was hilarious. bestie, YOU are the one who lied to him for months!! πππ this delusional diva. never change, ritt. pure and pitcha having a ten-minute sex scene in between all the drama and heartbreak was perfect. this is how i love my pulp! can't wait to see ritt's and itthi's issues being solved via kidnapping next episode. I LOVE THIS SHOW.
Thursday, June 11th
β
Friday, June 12th
A Dog And A Plane episode 3
i don't have much to say. it's jojo, so it's fun to watch, but i don't particularly vibe with any of the characters.
Saturday, June 13th
Love Upon A Time episode 12 (finale)
wow. WOW. this show is a 10/10 for me, no question about it. at the end, when klao made his wish to be reborn in a time where he could love phop openly, i actually started crying. the writing of this story was absolutely galaxy brain. no loose plot threads, everything came together in the end so beautifully and perfectly, i truly believe this is one of the best written bls i have ever seen. the lattekim sex scene??????? yeag. π΅βπ« that was high art. i am in awe. i want to shout from the rooftops how amazing this show is. this is definitely one of the shows of the year for me!!!
Fake Fact Lips episode 8
unfortunately, this was a very slow episode. i really don't like it when the main couple aren't on screen together for extended periods of time. this miscommunication is anxiety-inducing to me, this is why i usually don't like to watch japanese bl. argh π« secretly, i think all of the problems could be solved with a threesome, but i'm pretty sure that's not what's going to happen.
Shades episode 2
wow, this is the toxic yuri i've been waiting for! there's so much going on. i feel like it's going to take the whole season until i have a good grasp of all the students, their motivations and their friendship/enmities. i'm already fearing earn being outed as a porn performer, i'm sure the social repercussions are going to be brutal. anyway, teacher nalin, step on me π«
Flower Boy episode 8 (finale)
this show is so fucking unserious. i know this is spiritually a lakhorn but i can't get over the fact that someone just happened to place that camera in a random corridor in a way that ended up perfectly capturing bussaba's murder. like, what were they meaning to film originally?? it's not even like, a documentation of the perfume work they were doing??? nothing about this makes any sense πππ i kept wishing this show was about ray instead, because honestly, he is BY FAR the most compelling character to me. and he didn't even get a fun-to-watch love story? π€¨ man, i hope pearlpeak's next show is going to be better.
Payback episode 3
WHAT is going on with the weird dubbing on this show?! i can't decide whether khajorn is a genius or an idiot. maybe a little bit of both? somehow, he managed to scout the most outrageously brazen man of all time. every time sun gets up to some new scheme, khajorn's expression of being absolutely fucking done is hilarious. well, khajorn, you made your bed, now lie in it π jay is a candidate for the "i can see you're trying to be vegas but you will never be vegas" list. he would need to be more wet and pathetic to be compelling in any way. overall, a sad lack of fuaiz in this episode. two scenes with him are not enough! π
Sunday, June 14th
Crazy Love MooMoo episode 6
oh moo, you dumbass (affectionate). i can't believe this boy was spending a whole episode angsting about fu and gimm, when fugimm was never ever going to happen π the side couple stories are both surprisingly slow paced. can't wait to see how all of this is going to shake out!
Your Dear Daddy episode 6
oh, the trauma of it all. i'm really enjoying everyone's performances! every character is going through it, and every one of them is kinda handling the bad stuff differently, while trying to stay strong and keep their head up. emotionally, it all feels extremely real to me. phae and gale almost kissing was soooo nail-biting, i KNEW they'd be interrupted and then they WERE and AAAAHHHHHH i need them to kiss soooo bad π«π«π«
Enemies With Benefits episode 7
oh man, i'm feeling for both lal and wine. lal who's incapable of telling people when she isn't feeling her best and doesn't want anyone to worry about her, and wine who's convinced that being alone is safer than trusting other people with her happiness. OH MY GOD DO I GET IT. how is this show wrecking me so much?? and jesus, wine's panic response was horrifying to watch. her freezing up and unable to unfreeze in korn's presence was bone-chilling. i can't believe that this show has given us some of the most realistic representation of workplace sexual harassment and its consequences. absolutely incredible work.
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 9
WOW. what an episode! this show is getting better from week to week. all the family feels!!! the confrontations in this episode were a long time coming and emotionally gripping in a way few shows manage. INCREDIBLE EPISODE!!!
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 10
i can't get over how perfectly cast the flashback versions of the characters are. especially sorn! past!sorn and present!sorn ARE the same guy. you see them and you instantly believe it. incredible work by the casting department. grandpa, sorn and sun talking it out and apologizing made me cry. my god, family stories just hit different. aaaand i cried again during the little fashion show the kids put on. that moment between sun and the kid? yeah. wow. poetic queer cinema.

Your Dear Daddy episode 3
ohhh we're starting out with the trauma! i am so intrigued! WHAT happened to you, baby? π₯Ίβ€οΈ sila spacing out because he is too mesmerized by the cute twink he hired is soooo funny. i kinda need sila, meuang and saitharn to explore each other's bodies. i think maybe saitharn deserves two daddies and some nice dp, you know what i'm saying?
Girl Rules episode 11
i saw a lot of negative comments on this episode before i sat down to watch it, and i must say, i don't necessarily agree with all of the Takesβ’. this show has always been an over-the-top soap that was steeped in the lakhorn tradition. of course, we're getting a tearful breakup in the penultimate episode. i was kinda witnessing it not feeling anything, if i'm being fully honest. this show is like popcorn to me, easily snackable but without substance. it has always been that and i am not disappointed to be getting that.
Tuesday, May 26th
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 1
oh my god, i immediately fell in love with this show. this family is so damn relatable. everyone's going through their own thing and together, they all struggle with the fact that there's no money. the kids are adorable. i am already invested in guy and save. grandpa is such a cute bean, i adore him!! he is so proud of having fans, even if there's only 12 of them, it's the sweetest thing ever β€οΈ i can't wait to see him coming up with a bl plot π
Wednesday, May 27th
Magic Move episode 6
this show is so very horny, i am having the best time. during that bathtub sex scene i was like "oh they went to the my stubborn school of nc scenes". it's not quite at my stubborn levels but still. the side couple getting it on in the living room while mom was sleeping upstairs also gave my stubborn vibes. i adore this show. it's so much fun!
Wu episode 4
i keep wondering if i should take this out of my weekly rotation, since i have so much to do for work and i still have other shows i need to catch up on, but somehow, this show does intrigue me. the lore and world building are so compelling. i might not entirely understand what people see in skynani, but they are both very charming actors in their own right.
Thursday, May 28th
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 2
i adore this family. save's parents are so cute together. i love the scenes of them trying their hand at the old timey desserts! great-grandma's reactions were priceless. the editing on this show is so fucking flawless! poor save not knowing how to handle guy's confession and his own feelings and briefly losing his best friend over it ππ i can't believe that he decided to give gay love a try just to help his grandpa write a bl novel. i am SO seated for this show!!
Friday, May 29th
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 3
I LOVE THIS SHOW. oh my god i love this show so much. family stories are just SO up my alley π₯Ή i really love the exploration of how guy's and save's real life experiences are distorted, amplified and exploited commercially through social media. the reactions of everyone in the family feel so real and nuanced. the pressing need to make money is ever-present and informs a lot of the decisions of everyone involvedβand we get scenes like that conversation between mom and dad where mom was like "i don't mind if he's gay" and dad was visibly more uncomfortable with the idea, but unable to argue against the economic benefits. the fourth wall breaking during the failed kiss was JUST right. i am extremely here for this story!!!
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 4
ngl, dad's flashback had me tearing up. being an adult and knowing you should be able to do a certain thing but being unable to do it but also unable to ask for help because of embarrassment is such a terrible feeling. i found it very strange that among all the advice for writing nc scenes no one mentioned the most important thing of all, namely tapping into your inner horniness and writing solely from the dick. like, finding what makes you (the writer) go π΅βπ« and then perfecting that vision. no wonder grandpa is having trouble writing sex scenes when the advice leaves out such a crucial thing!
Fake Fact Lips episode 6
i really love the way these two are handling their feelings in the relationship. both are very mature and emotionally aware, it's lovely to watch. can't wait to find out what's going to happen next week! i'm usually not a fan of this kind of plotline but i think this show might be able to pull it off well.
Saturday, May 30th
Love Upon A Time episode 10
this show is still an absolute highlight of the week. i am on the edge of my seat the whole time!!! kaew and jom finally getting together was so satisfying π this show is Romance in its purest form. (plus a really gripping murder mystery.) i can't wait to find out what really happened and who is responsible for framing klao's father!
A Dog And A Plane episode 1
this is typical jojo stuff, meaning it's not really my thing but it's easy to indulge in like popcorn and gives me a fun spectacle. what can i say? it's crass, it's funny, it's a good time. it's not going to be one of my shows of the year but i'm gonna have a hell of a lot of fun with it.
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 5
i love this show so much. everyone is adorable and has their own part in the story. the kids are everything to me π₯Ή i really love that grandpa is starting to write from a place of true passion and love. i'm not necessarily expecting the show to go in a direction of "actually he was in love with his friend all along", but i think there is something to be said for a love story being written as a story of friendship first, or how friendship is actually really close to romantic loveβguy and save's story is all about that, too! ah, i love thematic relevance.
Sunday, May 31st
Crazy Love MooMoo episode 4
this show is so much fun. moo having to admit to himself that he just might be a little bit possessive of fu was hilarious π€π€π€ earth slayed the house down. ngl i was hoping kluayhom and moo would fuck it out. missed opportunity!
Your Dear Daddy episode 4
sila's and saitharn's chemistry is SO good. i love watching them flirt. i can't believe that the bdsm scene in the beginning of the episode only happened in someone else's imagination π fingers crossed that we're going to see the two of them playing a little bit more without it being imaginary ππ
Love Of Silom episode 7
ngl, this show is losing me a little bit. i would like to see more of the plot and less shenanigans. isn't there human trafficking going on?? and what about little singto? who is taking care of him? how is half of the runtime of this episode sweet bl moments and holiday shots? π as sweet as up and poom are together, i need a bit more substance in my narratives and for the issues that were set up to actually matter. man, i miss my stand-in. thankfully, 40 minutes in, we finally went back to the plot. this show is so good whenever something actually happens. i think if every episode was just 40 minutes and focused on the main plot, it would be the best thing ever.
ChermChey episode 2
no sex scene??? is this domundi or not??? what is wrong with them? i'm watching this for the smut and the smut ONLY! get your head in the game, show! the dialogue is weirdly stilted all of the time, it doesn't really flow. i am extremely intrigued by the through line of erng wanting to be called small and petite, though. when are they going to have freaky sex about that?? i really don't get erng, when he's flirting he's like "i'm available 24/7 π", then when in actually wants to sleep with him, erng keeps stopping him. what is this guy's deal?
i just looked it up, this show is directed by the same guy who made playboyy and peach lover, both of which i dropped because i thought the writing and especially the characterizations were weak and the nc scenes weren't good enough to make up for it. i'm afraid this show might be going the same way for me.
Enemies With Benefits episode 5
watching this after chermchey was so healing. finally two characters who are making out at every turn because they are just so damn attracted to each other π nature is healing. i love that lal and wine are slowly sliding into being a married couple. i mean, they're living together, they're exclusive, they want to be each other's safe zone and talk about anything? yeah babes that's a marriage idk how to tell you this π i am loving this show.
My Grandpa Is A BL Writer episode 6
i am so obsessed with this show. it's just so wonderful and wholesome while having actual, believable conflicts and character journeys. everyone getting injured in this episode was equally hilarious and frighteningβhumans are fragile! it could happen to you!
Payback episode 1
fuaiz is back on my screen!!!! it's been 84 years!!! miracles do happen!!! πππ he's really growing into himself, i love to see it π₯Ή i feel like a proud dad. that's my boy! he's looking all grown up now! he's still giving cunt! man, i love him so much.
now to the episode: the wigs are looking terrible, but everything else is fantastic. the story, the setting, the stakes, the emotions, all chef's kiss. however, did they dub over toptap jarukit's voice? it looked like it to me. if so, why? dubbing is such an unusual thing to see in a thai show.
I absolutely adore thailand for making a show like "my grandpa is a bl writer" exist lmao, unironically one of my favorite shows airing currently
update: now that the show is over.......... it's genuinely one of my favorite thai dramas of all time now, such a gem π₯Ή please please please do yourself a favor and go watch this masterpiece π

My Grandpa Is a BL Writer : The Best QL That Thailand Produced in Recent Years
Yellow Mango Tomato Ya'll bunch of Bootyful people, Happy Pride Month and what not it's been a while but ya super duper local loco unhinged boy is back (for like a bit.) To yell at the Aether why everyone and their mothers should watch this beautiful piece of art.
(disclaimer this show is currently only available with eng sub on Viu in Thailand and few other countries so do what you need to watch it wink wink nod nod)
Without going too much in spoilers first thing first, unlike Some GMMTV Show, although this show advertised itself as Family Drama and it is that and a goddamm good one, it's genuinely also a bonafide Capital B bl, The romance in this show got the respectful treatment it deserved.
The grandpa show (this is what I'm gonna call it) is a show that after recent societal setbacks in Thailand feels like some Toxic Positivity of a show that would glazes over generation of queer traumas for the bubbly heartfelt story of hey look a cranky old man is writing yaoi to save a foster home. The older people in this show feels realistic although they're good people, they're not magically is understanding of how younger people views on queerness and other "Woke" subjects. This show depicts them as something that makes my cold death gay heart needs later than what my delulu BL brain wants, Family that willing to learns from talking to their kids from listening to young people feedback and the willingness to walk away from their peers that cause their kids harms. the realness of even after coming out they still sometime says the wrong things even with good intentions is something i need myself after recently coming out to my mother and sister.
Lastly let talk Labels (Hot take is coming, if you don't want to get burn don't starts kitchens fire bitch mua556565656) So aahemmm with The recent WU drama and y'all bitches got them takes on whether or not that show should be count as a show under QL umbrella i would be a gasoline and coming to say it 100% is not "Queer Love" because 1. as a queer man, girlies i don't feel the love for queer people coming from that show or its fans 2. after a year of hanging with young people that consumed BLs to the points of rotting their brains, that kind of shows are enabling the worst kind of behavior of the so call "SΜΔw Y" 3. I don't like it. I know for a fact that them younger SΜΔw Y put a label on this show as boring PSAey Family Drama and would never give it a chance because their favorite fake couple are not in it. but this show Queer Love is not in the bubble or limited itself as just romantic love, i won't say more because go watch it! But its Love in Queerness is the only reason i need to call it one of The Best QLs of all time
PLEUM OUT! (also if i make it and make some goddamm good show and none of you watch it i will curse your family for 10 generations)
my weekends will now be so dull without my grandpa is a bl writer ππππππππππ this show was just so heartwarming and wholesome and touching. i felt like i was already mentally prepared but the writing was hitting the mark every episode with how they wrote the grandpa/grandson relationship and i really was just sobbing through the entire last 4 episodes because i'm reminded by my own close relationship with my grandma. although it is NOT bl series, it's a beautiful slice of life family drama with very heartwarming LGBTQ+ subplots.
if you haven't started the show yet, considering this sign for you to binge watch the entire series as all 12 eps have aired on VIU (or whichever grey sites you used to watch your Thai dramas).
Grandpa helps Save and Guy prepare for their audition π
Novel vs Reality
(or Grandpa's past is revealed to be the inspiration for the ending of his BL novel πππ)
(Grandpa is straight. But I guess, writing his BL novel, he finally realised that his bestfriend had some romantic feelings for him before he died π)
Called it π Their family business is BL now πππ

If Save and Guy passes the audition and Grandpa's book becomes a series, then BL will really be one of their core family business lol
He is wearing the jumper Save knitted a couple of eps ago πππ
