my fave question you could ask me ๐ฅฐ I'm currently watching seventeen (17!!!) shows atm bc I'm insane, so here are my faves of the bunch (some might have been already mentioned in the previous post you referenced, but bc they're still airing & I still love them I had to include them in this list!):
ticket to heaven: literally everything I love in a show, queer yearning & repression which hits even closer to home since christianity is involved... I adore how this is a twist on the classic queer stories where one is repressed and pushes the other away bc here tanrak cannot push barth away fully & I find this groundbreaking... like wdym this is the first piece of queer media where the repressed character stays kind and loving towards their lover even when they doubt & feel guilty??? you mean you can still have a healthy relationship in this conditions??? literally breaking the usual tropes & I'm obsessed, though I'm lowkey scared of how they'll wrap this story up in only one episode...
enemies with benefits: literally such a good efficient romance, jangjingjing shine so hard I'm so glad they're finally getting recognition after so many years in the industry, genuinely one of my all time fave gls!
when oranges fall: I love this show so very much which is crazy bc I had no intention of watching it. every episode has me so invested & the yearning and tension of the last couple of eps had me dying!!! genuinely perhaps the best high school thai bl since love sick, I love these boys sm!
lost to you: so sad this is ending this week, I enjoyed this show tremendously! I feel like it has such a distinct vibe from other bl shows and the main couple is my absolute fave! cbls are very hit or miss but this one is a hit for me!
the edge of horizon: only two eps in but I'm loving this sm!!! I went into this show having seen no trailer & knowing basically nothing about it, and the first two episodes were so down my alley with the repressed yearning & forbidden love story... but now things will take a turn for the rest of the show and I finally watched the damn trailer and now I'm even more excited??? what do you mean best friends to lovers to enemies to lovers?? what do you mean politics are involved & we're getting a prince x soldier even more forbidden love story?? hell yeah!!! also side eye but the prince's actor has the most beautiful eyes in the whole wide world & I'm in love with them ๐
the air: after loving the earth & being kinda let down by the water (so sad), I'm enjoying this tremendously. it's very well written & I hadn't watched freenbecky in anything since gap (which I never finished) so I was happy to see them in this, they're doing great! a great action romance!
the prosecutor's proposal: only two eps so might be too early to judge but I'm excited to see kbls finally lean into what makes kdramas great in general (their screenwriting for romances is usually some of the best imo), and also exploring more complex dark themes. I have no idea where this is gonna take us, but I'm here for the ride!
payback: this show is very different & new for thai bls, which I like very much. a lot of the aspects in this show are very unrealistic (like wdym sunny/bank didn't see sun's picture on that photographer's page & still doesn't know that's him) and also a bit ridiculous (that feeling when your ex betrayed you so you vow to become a more famous actor than him as revenge) but the acting is pretty good, the story is interesting & I always want to applaud stories that try to innovate so I'm enjoying it (although I feel nothing for the main characters, the only ones I care about are kajorn & sky lol)
love class season 3: arguably the one show in this list that's a little forgettable, and also really suffers from the episodes being so damn short (hot take but tv show episodes should never be under twenty minutes)... but I tune in so quick each time after an episode drops. I especially like the second couple with the thai guy, jaemin has my whole heart he's such a puppy ๐ญ idk I'm invested, just wish this got a better budget after season 2 proved what it could do...
