Meat Brick

(Yes I know Miffy is a girl, this is fully self indulgent art for me as a trans man who heavily relates to her and wants to be able to make trans art of her. And also really wants top surgery.)

Some cross stitches I did for my pride show. I don’t post a lot of my textile art on here, I need to do that more.

I’m thinking of opening up preorders for these bumper magnets. Please let me know if there are any other identities I should add to them.

This is a companion piece to my warty pig trans pride piece, this one with the Venus of Willendorf, another one of the oldest pieces of art we have found. She had always meant a lot to me as an artist, specifically because we will never actually know why she was made. All the discussion of her being a fertility totem is based on our modern beliefs of the past. I choose to see her as just something beautiful someone else created.

I wish we could just all be connected through joy. To go back. To look at a pig and want to paint it. To be together in our humanity.

Part 1.) of the close ups of each of the Pride miffys. These are all of the sexuality/romantic Pride flag miffys and I’ll make another post with all of the gender miffys.

I should have prints of this up on my shop launch! Which miffy are you looking for? Are there any other miffys I should make?

I will also have prints and stickers of him available on my shop when it launches. I’m planning on making some more Midwest fantasy creatures.

Finishing this piece and the previous one has gotten me really excited for this years Kawafitober

This piece really kicked off my consideration of working in a more illustrative style.

Here’s my bakery/baked good Slimey contribution. I knew I wanted him to be a donut, specifically a long John, or eclair. I did actually sell a print of him at the show. I was later told by the hosts that the man who bought it referred to it as a cool fish. If you can see the fish please explain to me as I am still confused.

I post lots of my Miffy art and that girl does own my heart, but I also have a special place for everyone’s favorite trash dwelling friend, Slimey the worm. This was for my weed show as well and since I had bong Miffy I had to do Slimey smoking a fat joint. I had to. It was actually legally required of me.

These were also very much inspired by the miffy bakery in Kyoto which I got to visit last summer.

These guys were both designed for my 4/20 show but I will have prints and stickers available on my shop once it launches.

Tumblr I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry for disappearing for like a month. I got so burnt out. In all honesty though this is the only social media I actually like posting on. It’s genuinely fun to me and I get to scroll through people making art for my beloved dead fandoms (stein x spirit soul eater living rent free in my head right now)
