On July 17th, it will have been 10 years since I started this blog, I can't thank all 2600+ of you enough for the love and support over the years. I know finds have been slow lately, partly due to me working on some original projects, and hopefully some of you will follow me into those as well! (...if I can stop being a perfectionist about it).

It's honestly kindof wild, we were barely starting the Reboot era, and now here we are barely into the Dynamite era. I was hoping I'd have something special prepared, and I might still try to have something, but a friend of the archive gave me an idea.

This is a call to action. I'm just one person, and my resources are limited, so if anyone wants to keep an eye out for these things, my submissions are open. (I still wanna open some kind of tip jar so you guys could support more directly, but I'm not sure how well that'd go.)

OpenAI scraped the entire web. All of which had been a labor of love from humans. Wikipedia is the backbone of a lot of LLMs, and that was volunteer human labor. They stole it and now they're selling it back to us.
