Tdyk is one of my fave fics of all time, thank you for writing it fr 💖 theres just so much i love about it. Your characterization is wonderful. Ive been rereading it recently and after every chapter there's so much i like about it i am reduced to incoherence.

The last two years have been comically bad, personally speaking— and the general state of the world hasn’t been much better, so writing has taken a major back seat

That said, I recently worked through a thorny plot problem that was plaguing me for MONTHS and actually started writing new stuff which is exciting!!

for my fellow living fossil enthusiasts, the striping on her tresses is patterned off of a Nautilus shell

Anon let me tell you something

When i saw the whole Anakin/Vader confrontation in Ahsoka and all the dreamlike world between worlds stuff I was like ok sure this all makes perfect sense after Rebels but still, neat coincidence

But VENTRESS— she was 100% toast, I brought her back because there was so much that TCW didn’t get a chance to address with her thanks to the buyout. I was completely certain she was gone for good. I had this whole justification for Asajj’s survival ready to go, ok, i had it all worked out and then like what a week or two later turns out she’s still kicking? In canon???

So, on the off chance I can speak this in to reality: Maul is unkillable in any way that matters. Mark my words, he’ll be back to making terrible decisions with more mechanical legs than ever before

TOTALLY— also, I’m not saying I have a Charlie Day-style red string cork board with all of the recent references to Maul and Dathomir

But im not saying I don’t have one either (what’s with the armorer’s horns and the children of the watch and moff gideon’s little cosplay— the laser gates?? WHAT ARE THE NIGHT SISTERS UP TO)

Don’t get me wrong Twin Suns was a gut punch of an episode and it worked on so many levels, but I want to see a Maul who survives Obi-Wan and Palpatine and the Jedi order as he knew it just for the sake of seeing what he’d make of life without revenge
