𝐇𝐄’𝐃  𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄  𝐈𝐅  𝐍𝐎𝐓  𝐅𝐎𝐑  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐈𝐂  𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 scrawled  across  his  features  ,  his  head  shakes  ,  a  sullen  smile  attempting  though  it  fails  with  ease  .  ❛      do  you  not  think  you  finding  this  power  doesn’t  help  the  rest  of  our  kind  ?   ❜      a  simple  question  ,  ❛        we  were  meant  to  lead  them  ,  alina  --    and  if  it  were  not  for  my  hand  ,  bahgra’s  training  ,  do  you  honestly  believe  you  would  have  found  it  entirely  by  yourself  ?   ❜

         oh, there was that pull again. like calls to like. darkness to light. vice versa. she couldn’t escape it, no matter how much she tried, no matter how much she wanted to. they were drawn together, even if she didn’t want to admit it. her heart betrayed her again, the little flutter turning into an almost thunderous applause as he spoke, as he came closer.    “ why? why do you leave it to me to make the decision, to act of my own volition? “     she knew why. he wanted her to make the choice to follow him, to stand beside him, by his side. yet, she wanted those words to leave his lips. 

         her head shook gently after he spoke, gaze lifted to meet his own, that same distance still apparent between them, and for that she was grateful.    “ you don’t know how difficult it is for me. you can never know. “    arms wrapped around herself, wishing for a moment that she could make herself small, to be back in that damn home with mal….    “ you mean see things the way you see them? not clearly. just… through your eyes? no, tell me what i can do to make YOU see things in a different light. “    lips pursed together for a moment before a light frown graced her features.    “ can we have one night…. one evening, where we don’t talk about future plans. yours, or anyone else’s. where we just live? forget about everything else. a few hours, that’s all i ask… “

❛          𝐈𝐒𝐍’𝐓  𝐈𝐓  𝐎𝐁𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒  ?    ❜      communication  is  simply  bound  by  the  road  he  has  taken  ,  it  sweeps  all  negativity  beneath  the  rug  of  his  conquests  and  the  man  that  he  is  for  the  rest  of  his  days  .  it  calms  ,  it  quarters  ,  it  draws  semblance  of  someone  that  she  will  want  to  stand  side  by  side  with  and  along  that  way  of  thinking  he  continues  ,  ❛    i  want  you  to  make  the  choice  to  stand  by  my  side  ,  i  see  no  reason  to  force  your  hand  ,  it’s  unnecessary  ,  dangerous  and  i  think  we  both  can  do  without  ,  don’t  you  ?      ❜
