chase the wind / touch the sky

having spent the better part of his afternoon playing games with the lost boys nibs had tired of their company. sure he loved the boys and peter as if they were his own family, but sometimes their presence was too much to handle so when he got the chance to get away, nibs snuck back to his tree.

as he made his way to one of the top thickest branches to rest on, a bright light kept shining into his eyes, blinding him. he paused for a moment, watching as the light flickered over his frame. it was some sort of reflection he guessed. and with that thought he leapt back down and made his way to it’s source.

“who’s there?”

Merida was enjoying the peace and quiet of the afternoon, sitting in the middle of a small clearing  as she carved random patterns into a piece of wood and enjoying the heat from the afternoon sun. Looking up from her work as someone came into view, rolling her eyes as she realised that it was one of the lost boys. She didn’t really have an issue with the lost boys in general, it was just their magical friend she would rather avoid. “I should ask you that, you’re the one that came to me.” 

“Wait.” Perhaps it is bold on Baymax’s part to reach out and grab the other person’s arm. They’ve had patients in the past who never responded well to touch and what kind of doctor would Baymax be if they didn’t take that into consideration? The patient’s life might come first, but the emotional well-being of the patient is always a high priority as well. But on the other hand-

They gently tug the other person back and furrow their brow in concern. It might not be obvious to anyone else, but Baymax didn’t miss the way the other had winced in pain. “You are injured. Allow me to treat you.”

Merida winced, feeling the others hand land on her arm in the area where she still had the scars from her mothers attack. quickly pulling her arm free from the others grip, placing her own hand over the three scars. “I’m fine.” she stated firmly, she had run from home after the incident at the stone circle, clumsily stitching the wound herself, however she was no medic and the wounds hadn’t healed properly, occasionally still causing her pain. “I don’t think you can treat this anyway.”

✩•*˚『 sophie skelton ✩ female ✩ she/her 』 ҉   have you seen [ MERIDA DUNBROCH ] ? it seems as if they’re a nomad on the island…  maybe that’s because before they came to the island they were [ TRYING TO REVERSE THE SPELL ON HER MOTHER ], but now they’re [ EXILING HERSELF  ].   [ MERIDA ] appears to be [ 25 ], but looks can be deceiving because they’re actually [ 26 ]. the winds tell us that they’re allied with [ HOOK ]. there are rumors that they’re [ INDEPENDANT ], but they can be [ ARROGANT ].  when asked what they want out of being on the island they say [ TO FORGET ].  we hope they don’t cause too much trouble.˚*•✩
