okay, i’m gonna say you are probably an introvert - you mention needing alone time and that’s about all i got for whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert.

i’m really not quite sure about the sensing or intuitive. but since you’re good with resource managing, and probably managing in general, i’m gonna guess sensing.

urgh, it’s really hard to tell from just this information whether you’re sensing or intuitive.

i’m definitely getting the vibe though that you’re more feeling than thinking, that’s just a vibe thing i could be totally off lol.

and even though you can be lazy, the fact that you went backpacking for a full year makes me think you’re more judging than perceiving, because it takes a whole lot of planning and thinking ahead to make sure you didn’t die out there while backpacking. Like, i can’t imagine doing that, not just ‘cause i’m lazy, but i don’t even want to think of all the logistics i’d have to go through to be ready enough for that type of thing.

with all this, you’re probably (from my guesses) an infp or an intp. but, i don’t really see an intp being super artistic or jack-of-all-trades (not that they can’t be, just not exactly what they’re known for), so i’m gonna go ahead and guess that you are an infp.

procrastination usually has roots within the person’s mentality, in my experience. usually dealing with fears. fear of rejection, or fear of not being good enough, which can be traced to self-esteem issues, etc etc.

 i think perceiving types are more susceptible to being procrastinators than other types, but that doesn’t mean that no other type can procrastinate.

our mbti types are good personality indicators, but depending on the situations we’re currently going through we can show off some traits that are the exact opposite of our type, especially under stress or fear or other bad situations. also, if you’re growing, like your a teenager or becoming one or growing into an adult, our personalities can change a lot. a brother of mine has gone from being like a wallflower type of personality to being very open and very extroverted, and it’s probably because of puberty.

okay, this sounds like two people in my life, so i’m gonna name their types and explain from there. i’m thinking, infp or entp.

my infp definitely doesn’t care for shallow conversation and would much rather have deep conversations with people. infps are also really interested in finding out other people’s personalities and getting to know what makes them do what they do (one of the founders of the mbti whole idea was an infp lady). my infp is rarely on time, and i can definitely see her as being scatterbrained. she also has been known to start projects and then not complete them.

what goes against infp is the “content to just sit in the same room as people”, which, infps can do, but it isn’t really like a superb joy, to my knowledge.

the entp i know is my dad, and he definitely loves being around people and he loves to talk to people, he’s very intelligent so he can pick up and understand people very quickly. he is often quite late for things, and always seems to be running late for something (its a running joke in our family, if my dad says he’ll be there in thirty minutes, you’ve got another hour or two before he actually gets there lol). he also starts projects and then doesn’t complete them often.

the not-like-an-entp is that he does need to interact with people, he’s a huge extrovert and loves interacting with people. he also doesn’t mind shallow conversation, it may not be the most enlightening to him, but he can definitely deal with it. he is not very scatterbrained.

so, all this talk and stuff, annd i’m going to guess that you are an infp.

due to you mentioning your shyness and how you sometimes need to be alone, i’m going to guess you are an introvert. extraverts can feel shy and need alone time too, but since you highlighted those areas i’m just gonna go with introvert.

it’s hard to guess whether you’re sensing or intuitive just by the little information i’ve got here. my gut instinct is sensing, because of how you emphasized that you can tell other people’s emotions, so i’m gonna go with sensing.

you don’t like fights, and the general vibe i’m getting is… feeling.

and perceiving types are well known for their procrastination.
