first notes of the semester, inspired by the lovely maybestudy on instagram!! ps how cute is my new peachy duvet cover???

Discipline: “discipline is doing what needs to be done, even when you don’t want to”, which means that you have to force yourself to start doing things. 

Concentration: when you make a real effort in your work (study, homeworks etc…) you will be more likely to actually focus, understand and learn. 

Organization: always set tasks and goals and organize a study-schedule. Maybe you don’t really want to plan all the week, but if you just wake up and open your agenda/bullet journal/iphone calendar and write down all the things you have to do, setting due dates and deadlines, you’ll feel more conscious and encouraged to stay on track. 

Tasks-splitting: sometimes, you write down your tasks. Some of these tasks may be very hard and complicated, and it will take a long long time to complete them. So, you can split them in smaller tasks, so you will feel satisfied after a shorter period of time, instead of studying for hours and still seeing that chapter undone on your study-schedule. 

Watch the sunrise: when I wake up late, I feel like I don’t have enought time to do my work and lose my motivation. I literally panic and then I think “whatever, I could not complete all the things anyway”. So, if you wake up earlier you will feel more positive and  controlled. 

Smart reading: try not to read your textbook just like a newspaper. For every paragraph you read, try to underline and write down key words and then your question about that subject. Literally, turn your textbook into questions. If you write down question - particularly why…? - and think about the answer, you will be more likely to remember that stuff later. 

So, I’ve been finishing up my DA and came up with a bunch of room decorating ideas to help me! I thought they might help you guys too, so here’s a list:

More hairstyles: Long hair, curly hair, long bangs. Also more hair colors and options to add more than one color like different colored tips or colorful streaks.

More hats to customize like baseball caps, sun hats, etc.

Be able to make bouquets of flowers when you put them all together (like fruit) and be able to make flower crowns!

More flowers like sun flowers, lily pads, daisies, etc.

If you had the mayor role again, be able to tell other villagers where to and where not to move in certain spots of your choosing.

More activities to do with your villagers. Like play tag, go party together at a club like club lol, have races, and play sports.

Be able to choose your skin tone.

Wear makeup like blush and lipstick. Also to have face markings like scars, freckles, beauty marks, etc.

Add gyroids to the museum (I believe they did this in the old games?).

Let villagers be your roommates. Like how you can invite a villager to live in town from rv/camp. But instead you can say to be your roommate. So you can have an extra villager in town. You can choose their room or they can decide on their own.

Have some sort of trading shop that connects to the internet. Like how most people go to towns to do it. Except this will be a stranger and both of you keep on showing offers like furniture and bells until you two can agree.

New personalities for villagers! Like mischievous, shy, and adventurous!

PWPs you can put on ponds! Like little paper boats or lilypads.

Better character customization, similar to what we’ve gotten in HHD and Pocket Camp. It isn’t fair that everyone in NL starts off as white!

More part time jobs! Can we help Timmy and Tommy restock or move stuff in their store? Can we help Blathers with information on museum pieces? This one could be trivia based!

Hitting off of the last one a bit, let us help Cyrus with furniture! It could finish ours faster.

GIVE US THE OPTION TO BE AN ANIMAL VILLAGER AS A SIDE CHARACTER… You could design them similar to clothing, and you could generate QR codes for them so you can share!

Maybe a vending machine with snacks we can buy and give to villagers? (Or Shrunk, or eat ourselves!)

Snow angels. Enough said.

Help Nook do exterior remodels on houses. (So if you wanted your town to look like a townhome community, you could. Lol)

Helping Nook with interior design could also be a part time job because half of the villaGERS DONT EVEN HAVE BEDS-

Ice skating on frozen ponds in winter!

Swimmable rivers and ponds.

Ice fishing?

Different landscape options!!! Like deserts with cacti, jungles with different trees, tundras with snow year round, and more!

Let us ask villagers if they want to play a game!

After the museum fossil collection is complete, let me give my fossils to Blathers! He could buy them for a higher price?

Let two human characters live in the same house! That would be so cute

Have the standard campsite look more like the aminity tents from pocket camp depending on the villager type visiting

A community garden with stuff like carrots, tomatoes, ect.
