The goose hissed. He shifted his stance, putting himself a little more between the bird and the mastiff, though he kept enough distance from Aera not to crowd her further. His coat was askew, his hair had suffered, and there was a smear of dirt along one sleeve that suggested he had already lost at least one argument today. The goose wriggled violently. Edgar held tighter, wincing as one wing thudded against his ribs. He exhaled through his nose, then looked back at her. "I am attempting a rescue. Possibly a foolish one."

Aera stared at the clearly wild man before her, blinking slowly. This was chaotic, and while she was frustrated it was also mildly amusing. The bird pecked at him and Keun Gae stared at the bird, no longer barking but his tail wagging. "Oh yes, I am sure the goose is entirely to blame for this." She said sarcastically, looking at the creature. Its beady little eyes suggested the man was correct, and well, she had to smile a little.

When he said he was attempting a rescue she took on a more serious look again. "A rescue? Is the goose hurt?" Her eyes scanned the bird, seeing no signs of blood or injury besides being agitated. "Did you hurt it?" Her eyes narrowed, ready to call for a constable if this random man decided to hurt a goose for some reason. Suddenly, she heard voices coming from the street. A man talking about his fortune telling goose, how it got stolen. How he wanted it back in it's cage immediately. All at once, Aera understood the mission. She nodded once and looked at Keun Gae. "Dallida*," she whispered urgenly, letting his leash go. Keun Gae immediately ran down the street, and Aera cried out in worry.

"My dog ran loose! Someone get him please!" She called out, gesturing to Edgar to start running again. "Please get my dog!" The constable stopped his pursuit of Edgar to help Aera, and she had to fight a smile as her gentle giant of a dog happily ran down the street like it was the best day ever. Seeing the poor constable occupied trying to wrangle him in, she darted away to catch up to Edgar. "We have to get him to a lake!"

He perks when he hears that nickname, and he smiles brightly as he goes to her. "Yoyo ah," He said fondly as he moved to hug her.  

"You missed quite a lot since you were last  here!" He tells her. He knew she was coming during the gemstone ball- he knew he had to wait until she got him to tell her the news about his new title. He didn't even know how to bring it up, though of course one of their servants had called out to him, which made him wince. "Lord Lytton!" The butler said as he held a few letters for him to look at. He couldn't get a moment's rest, could he?. "Ah, thank you. You can put it on my desk. I'll get to them later," He tells him.

Aera beamed seeing her twin and chuckled at the nickname he had given her so long ago. She returned the hug tightly and kissed his cheek affectionately. "I missed you terribly. Our letters were not enough!"

It seemed like there was more staff around than the last time she was there. A little odd, but not too unusual. "Yeah? I know that Tim is the bachelor of the season." She said the words with a slight roll of her eyes. English society was so different than American, it was still hard to adjust to. "Anything new with Anj? Or you?" Just a moment after she asked, the butler called for him.

Lord Lytton?

Aera stared at Junho for a moment before laughing softly and nudging his arm. "Lord, hmm? Let me guess, you got married without telling me?" She joked, assuming Junho was just pulling a little prank on her and made the butler get involved.

"Please, no need." Oskar waved away the hand that had gone to help him into the chair. His shoulder was aching and for the first time in a while he could feel the scars on his leg tightening as he moved. It had barely been three days since all the poppy had been removed and he could feel the loss of it. Everything felt strung out. There was a tremble in his hands he couldn't quite hide. "I am not helpless, I can manage."

Aera had been looking for a place to go, somewhere quiet. The Inn seemed like the best place, and as she was going to sit down somewhere she saw a man who was shaking. Immediately she went over to attempt and help him, but he waved her off.

"Of course Sir, my apologies." Aera said softly with a bow of her head, removing her hand from him. "I know you are not helpless, you just do not look well. Is there anything I get for you? Some water or... Something stronger?" She attempted to lighten things for the man with a soft smile as she sat across from him now.

It had been four days since the Gemstone Ball, which Edgar considered more than enough time for London to recover from rain, scandal, and wounded pride. Edgar himself had recovered beautifully. Or, at the very least, he had found something interesting to do. A travelling showman in the square stood with a wooden crate, a large gathering surrounding him. He claimed that the creature within had been brought all the way from the wilds of the Americas. He also claimed it could smell dishonesty, predict marriages, and identify a thief merely by looking into their eyes. Edgar had paid a shilling to see this wild beast - only to discover that it was a goose.

Edgar had crouched before the crate, resting one arm across his knee. "You have crossed an ocean only to be falsely advertised in Mayfair," he murmured sympathetically. "I understand. London has done much the same to me." The goose had stared at him. Then it had bitten him. That ought to have ended the matter. Instead, ten minutes later, the showman was shouting, the crowd was scattering, and Edgar O'Connor was running through the square with the goose tucked beneath one arm.

He turned the corner down an alley and nearly collided with someone. One hand caught their arm to steady them while the goose fought furiously with its wings. Edgar glanced behind him. Two constables had joined the pursuit, looking frantically around for the heir presumptive. Then he looked back at the unfortunate stranger, his expression brightening. "Excellent," he said, holding out the goose. "You are precisely the person I needed." The bird hissed. "Take this. Do not ask questions, and whatever happens, do not let it judge your character."

Being stuck on a ship for many days, Aera was in need of stretching her legs and just getting out. She had far too much energy, especially now that she was not horribly sea sick. Keun Gae, her large English Mastiff, walked alongside her as she breathed in the fresh air and took a look around the busy streets. Not much had changed since the last time she was in Mayfair, but it still felt unfamiliar to her. Nothing would replace her home.

There was a ruckus nearby, and Aera went to move out of the street just in case- but she was too late, as a body slammed into her and she cried out in surprise and Keun Gae let out a deep bark. "Ei! Watch where you are going!" She scolded the person, and then her eyes widened at the sight of... a goose? "What on earth?" She whispered and narrowed her eyes, taking a step back. "My first day in Mayfair and I am struck by a man holding a goose?" The bird hissed and Keun Gae barked again, making Aera tug on his leash slightly as she took another step back. "I do not want your goose." She finally said, attempting to fix her composure as she stood up tall and stared the man down. "Who are you and what are you doing?"
