Don’t think I’ll be back on Twitter for this show. Just don’t like the fandom in general. I’m sure there are plenty of lovely people there but as a whole? No thanks. I’d much rather stay in my little corner of the internet, on a site where maybe six people at most care about what I post.

I’m glad she’s stepping away from the toxicity of the cons that it has become from past some few cons and very happy that she’s the one putting a stop to it first. It will never be the same without her many fans won’t even go which means Stefania will be the next to say goodbye probably. I’m very excited for what dsavre has next 😭❤️

I’ve never met Danielle, nor have I ever felt the need to. Always been interested first and foremost in the characters. I just have a real soft spot for her because Maya is my favorite and she genuinely seems so sweet with fans.
I already couldn’t stand the toxicity before the show was even over (hence getting rid of Twitter and sticking to Tumblr) so can’t even imagine what it’s evolved into since then. The show is over, let her move on.
Man I’ve been crying on and off since yesterday about Danielle not doing conventions anymore. She really is the backbone of the Station 19 fandom. After the Paris con in December, I won't be attending any more conventions. She was the one who made them feel worth it.My bank account will definitely thank me 😭
I will say this: Danielle is the only cast member I follow on sm, mostly because I feel like she’s always given the fans 150%. From the very beginning.
She helped build the Marina/Station 19 fandom live by live. The convention scene as it exists today is largely because of her and Stefania. From what I was told (don’t quote me on this), Danielle was the first actor from the show to be announced for a convention, and now she’ll be the first to officially step away. Kind of poetic.

I’ll keep my thoughts to myself when it comes to the extended cast and the fandom in general. Hopefully this will make some of the nastiness die down, but I’m not holding my breath.
I have a feeling Danielle is stepping away from cons bc she plans to get pregnant next year. She has mentioned in her podcast having kids soon or something like that. We will have little McSavres in no time.

Danielle just announed she's not doing any more conventions. I'm so so so sad. Will have to go to Paris to say goodbye. She is so special. I loved meeting others at those cons. They are all super nice but she stands miles above the rest. The amount of herself she gives to fans, how she is always making an effort to make sure the cons are not just about standing around taking a pic but to give fans a different and special experience. I'm in my feels. Love her so much.
Just saw Danielle’s post. I really feel for those, like yourself, who loved seeing her at conventions.
That said, I think it’ll be good for her to separate from the show and move on to other things.
do you pay for Danielle's patreon? trying to figure out if it's worth it. Love her podcast but if she doesn't upload a lot of stuff then it's really expensive.
I haven’t even listened to the podcast yet. Might get around to it while I’m at the beach in a couple of weeks.

I feel ya on the media illiteracy because what are people talking about destroyed Marina? They are still canonically happily married like hello. Ain’t that a win? Saw so many people hating on Danielle because she took the job, but why should she say no? Whatever happened with Stefania really isn’t her problem. Likewise, I think there would’ve been Stefania hate had it been the opposite. 🤷🏻♀️
Imo people have forgotten that Maya and Carina have never been main characters.
Fandom culture in general has become incredibly toxic over the past few years. Definitely not just this show. I was talking to a friend who’s really into Heated Rivalry, and she was saying the exact same thing about that fandom. Same dynamics.
About three years ago, I was almost completely turned off Station 19 and Maya & Carina because of the fandom. At this point, I think the best thing anyone can do is stick to what they enjoy and ignore, mute, or block everything else. Otherwise, it just becomes exhausting.

After watching the grey’s finale i can confidently say I never want to see Carina on that show again. like at all. not even for one episode. They would mess it up… have her cheat throw in some weird line that undermines Marina for no reason.
Sorry Stefania but you're gonna have to stay on that republican show. I feel bad for the Carina girlies who won’t see her again but it’s for the best. The fact that Marina got endgame and stayed solid for as long as they did is a miracle. I’m happy with what we got. I loved Maya’s last ep bc they didn’t mess with it. and I know grey’s well enough to know it won't happen twice. So yeah this was it. Ready to move on with the memory of Marina intact.
I could use a Stefania guest appearance. Like what Danielle did. Just one episode. I agree they would ruin anything else.
