A book series where there's a young rookie detective who gets put on a team of detectives and they're not that into the idea of having him on the team. So then there's a case where he gets shot and killed but the day after his funeral he's sitting at his desk and now he's a ghost who helps them solve crimes. He ends up getting a few love interests but no one knows he's a ghost so its complicated for him.
