It was a hot summer day and Carmen enjoyed her ice cold drink at the Avengers tower, hiding from the heat. Other Avengers were on a mission or relaxing in their rooms. She was signed by her big brother Tony to welcome some new addition to the group. After a month of training Pietro Maximoff was ready to follow his twin sister’s footsteps and join The Avengers. Carmen was sitting on a couch in living room area, waiting him. She glanced at her phone, Pietro was already ten minutes late. She only knew some basic information about him and talked with him couple of times. She sighted and started to play with her phone.

He shrugged and then shifted his weight onto each leg “fair enough…no experimentation right? That’s how I ended up..” He said glancing at her
“No experimentation,” she declared. “Just popped out of the womb a freak.”
He nodded crossing his arms across his just “how fun…” He said
“Yeah… No,” she said and pushed her hair back, her eyes turning sad for just a quick moment.

She stared at him, breathing heavily with fear of him and anger at herself. “Don’t think, tell me what the fuck you actually saw!”

He nodded “yeah. That’s true. But I’m different. I’m not one of those stand up to all things types. If I see something that doesn’t need to be brought up, then I don’t bother”
She relaxed a little, returning to a regular stance. “So why are you still here then?” she asked, hoping to get rid of him.
"I'm very curious as to what I just saw." He shrugged relaxing a bit as he saw her stand regularly

Jade usually kept her powers well hidden, but sometimes it just couldn’t be helped that she lost control. So when someone caught her in the park, scales standing on end, smoke floating from between her lips, it wasn’t that shocking. It was just a matter of time.
“Fuck!” she exclaimed, standing and darting backwards from the other, who she quickly recognized as the Avenger who had almost died. “You didn’t see that, alright?”

Nicky was in the living quarters of the Tower, busying herself with making snacks for her television-a-thon. She rarely slept and moving to SHIELD didn’t help matters. She was constantly on the verge of a breakdown with nerves. What if she said something wrong? What if she did something wrong? What if they found out who she really was? What she had done? What if she said stupid in front of Captain America? Or the cute Sokovian? It didn’t matter which cute Sokovian she was in trouble with either of them.
Shaking her head, she hoped the microwave wouldn’t wake anyone as she popped popcorn and pulled out her stash of cookies and chips. Once the popcorn was done she poured some M&Ms in them and then tried gathering everything up in her arms. She stopped short when she felt a shift in the air and leaned back to peek out around the fridge.
“Hello? Just me, little Bug don’t kill me, I work here,” she whispered loudly in the dark before inching over to turn the light on, blinding herself for a minute. “Please don’t be an angry Mr Stark, please don’t be an angry Mr Stark.”
Pietro chuckled a bit leaning against the wall as she turned on the light. He had been up running around the base to tire himself out. He had always been a tough sleeper. He gave her a small smirk "don't worry, I won't tell on you" he said in his obvious Russian accent

Wanda felt like she couldn’t breathe, her palms were sweaty and her head was a mess with unspoken words and confusions about herself and how much more of a mess she was making of her life. All she had wanted to do was help people, to save them like she had been saved but no matter where she went and what she did with The Avengers, her insecurities got the better of her and something went wrong. After the last time of having a civilian get in the way of a car she had moved aside and being fatally injured because of it, all she wanted to do was be away from everyone.
She walked from the compound to the nearby town, her hood up and her hands in her pockets hoping no one would recognise her.
Pietro has been walking, trying to find anyone he knew. Specifically his sister. He had got lucky and survived Sokovia. When he was released from his “resurrection” experiment he had no idea where he was or how to find anyone he knew. He was told someone had sent him to he “helped” but they would not tell him the name Pietro walked through the town having finally found someone who told him where the Avenger tower may. He walked through the town glancing over thinking he saw the familiar face of his sister.
