a perfect meme for them
Being the Dunk and Egg user of asoiafblr is funny bc everyone always asks me to narrate my thoughts on casting announcements and shit. Uhhh summarizing it all i think the actors will do a good job i’m just disappointed that they had the opportunity to showcase actors of colour when HBO previously established Dorne as racially diverse, but chose to instead cast the Dornish targs entirely as white with only two actors of colour, both playing characters that will not appear in later seasons. Like we’ve seen with Baela, Rhaena, and Laena that they CAN cast poc as Targs but that they don’t like having them in the spotlight and take every opportunity to centre a white person instead. So i suppose i can’t be surprised, but still disappointed nonetheless. Like why couldn’t Baelor and Maekar have had actors of colour? Sure the other Dornish targs are Stoney Dornish, which could be casted as white, but Baelor and Maekar? Missed opportunity.
CHARACTER INTRODUCTION - throne of shadows - ayen torric, prince of astania
"in the shadow of my father's death, i must forge a path that is mine alone. to reclaim a throne is to reclaim more than just a title—it is to rebuild the very soul of our kingdom."
Jaime deciding to become more involved in Tommen’s life is so funny because his three instincts are:
• teach this 8 year old to learn how to dissociate from unimaginable trauma
• plan to separate Tommen from his mother and fill the small council with allies of his own which should be easy because he knows Tommen’s favourite hobby (stamping his royal seal into hot wax)
• scrap all this and run to the Riverlands with Brienne. sorry Tommen

Fantasy writer presentation
I started posting about the tolkien persian translations, but why I'm really here is to talk about my writing. I'll try to keep it short, but if it tickles your interest I'd love if we could follow each other :)
I'm a young french writer that's working on a universe since 6 years.
I'm truly into high fantasy and dark fantasy, although I write less of the second kind. I've got a number of inspirations, some less obvious than other like George RR Martin, Tolkien, Sanderson, even Lovecraft or french writers like Camus or Céline.
What deeply compels me to write is my fascination for the human character and its limits, delving into it as much as in an introspective manner as with tangible actions (e. g. fights that act as much as talking than does dialogues).
If your interest is stricken, you can continue to read to see in more detail what i write
This post is peculiar, in the futur I will talk more about my process, what i like and dislike, my philosophy, my goals, my inspirations, some analysis even ! I can't thank you enough for reading :)
Goated.
What new dragons are you most excited to see in both House of the Dragon and Rise of the Dragon?
I'm can't say I'm particularly eager for any one dragon, although I do describe Sunfyre as the most beautiful dragon that anyone has ever seen. He looks like he's not a real dragon, but a dragon made of gold. His scales and armor are bright gold, like a flash in the sun. So let's try to capture that when we see him on-screen.
