Worse than rabies, to me, are diseases that affect the brain and make you stop being who you used to be

I hate how my mood depends on one person in the house, and I can't escape it. Even if I’m not to blame for their bad mood, I still feel down, feeling a mix of shame alongside the realization that I had nothing to do with it. Conversations won't solve anything because I get ignored, as if they're just leaving it to pass with time.

I don't like the sadness that comes after finishing a story, whether it's a book, a TV series, or a movie. Maybe it isn't sadness but melancholy, an early nostalgia for the comfort of discovering new information, and the realization that it has now come to an end.
