We have been reduced to Good Jew Who Hates Israel And All Things Jewish, and Evil Jew Who Doesn’t Want To Die To Be Absolved Of Palestine. We are not allowed to be people anymore. Someone I know on here, a goy, got harassed because she was having a crummy week and asked for cheer-up things and when I reblogged with a picture of one of my cats she reblogged from me with something like “HE’S SO FLUFFY.” Someone literally went after her for thinking a Jew had a cute cat. Apparently an Australian reblogging a cat pic from an American is somehow oppressing people in Palestine.

We’ve been isolated and alienated and people are calling for our deaths because apparently killing Jews will help Palestine, or something. Please, just…let us be people. A lot of us have lost a LOT of friends in the last two months. One of my losses was someone I’d known for seven years who instantly started simping for Hamas. That cuts. That cuts DEEP.

Hamas denies the Holocaust. Hamas disseminates the Protocols of the Elders of Zion—the conspiracy theory it paints is what they mean by “Zionist”. Hamas forbids foreign aid educators from teaching human rights to Palestinians, and claims that even teaching that the Holocaust happened is a war crime. Hamas has written the aim of annihilating Israel (the country and its people) into its charter—the mass slaughter and violent expulsion of 7 million Jews from the land is written into its laws.

There is no crime any state could ever do that would justify any of that; there is no act of state repression that could ever make it acceptable to side with the organization spreading Nazi pamphlets and Holocaust denial.

Oppose Bibi Netanyahu. Oppose Israel’s far-right, authoritarian government. Oppose its apartheid policies. Oppose its violent abuse of the Palestinian people. That isn’t antisemitic. But Hamas is—verifiably, beyond a shadow of a doubt, to its core—antisemitic. Its portrayal of Israeli Jews as blood-thirsty, child-killing master manipulators that control international media and finance is antisemitic. Its insistence that Palestinian freedom necessitates the death & expulsion of Jews from the land is antisemitic. Its redefinition of “Zionism” as a pejorative to mean genocidal Jewish/Israeli Supremacy is antisemitic.

Absolutely. Yes. All these calls for "fight colonialism without engaging in antisemitism" is so weird to me whenever I read people sharing them because the statement in itself is perpetuating antisemitic misinformation... But then is also calling for an end to antisemitism?

It's almost as if their "stop antisemitism in our movement" is performative and meant to act as a cover for any time they are accused of antisemitism. Like "nuh-uh, I can't be antisemitic, I said it's bad!" even though they spread antisemitic propaganda in the same breath.

So many people ignore that this war is Israel versus Hamas, a group dedicated to the extermination of Jews. This war will not end until one side wins, we've seen evidence of this in all of the numerous ceasefires broken and peace deals rejected by Hamas. So if you are opposing Israel, you are inherently advocating for Hamas's victory, a victory that would result in the genocide of Jews living in Israel. Seven million Jews.
