I'm a diamond in the rough

Lily couldn’t help but laugh at Matt’s expression but her own amused one quickly morphed itself back into a scowl. “I’m not an idiot. Surely there must be a work out that’s less sweaty than running laps? I just don’t like the way I look when I’m running” she huffed. “Now stop giving me attitude or I’ll be forced to take my business to one of your colleagues. Preferably that guy” She turned her attention to another trainer who happened to be looking in their direction.”Because he looks like he might give me a work out in the more fun sense of the phrase”  

With an eye roll at what Lily was saying and when she pointed to one of his co-workers, he crossed his arms over his chest. “If you’re looking for the other kind of fun work out, then by all means, go right ahead. I won’t stop you - even if you could do better. He’s all looks with nothing to support it. But if you’re looking for an actual work out, then you’re better off with me. I suppose I could start you off easy.”

I’m sorry. Did you say anything? I was distracted.

“Is that an attempt at a pick up line to get me to talk to you? Because I didn’t say a word.”

Scrunching her nose, Kara just stuck her tongue out in response to what he said next. “I’m not in love with you! Stop saying that. No freaking way would I be in love with you,” she grumbled. Watching him open the bottle, Kara gasped in awe at the scent of the vodka filling her nostrils. Moving closer to him so that she could see the bottle, she watched it carefully as he poured it in the glass. She had never seen something so beautiful in her life before, it was almost magical. “It’s beautiful,” she whispered under her breath before taking the glasses and handing him one. “Are you ready? Ready to taste the most expensive bottle of vodka in the world? We should toast on it.”

“I’ll stop saying that when you stop bringing it up,” he told her, wagging a finger in her direction. “You’re the one who has this constant need to bring it up. It’s almost crossing weird territory, just so you know.” Once he was done serving vodka into the glasses, he placed the bottle carefully down on the table before he took the glass that Kara handed him. “I am more than ready. To drinking an expensive ass bottle of vodka,” he said, in his best attempt of a toast, although he assumed Kara would think of a better one.

“He was hot,” Kara commented, noticing that Matt too was checking him out. “What do you think?” she asked, before turning back to Matt. “How can you not have had sex during work? That’s crazy. Even I’ve done it, but then again, there isn’t much I haven’t done.” Standing up properly so that she was no longer leaning on the counter, Kara pulled out her phone and sent a quick text. “Okay when are you free? I’m really bored and horny.” Hearing him talk about his experiences when it came to sex admittedly made Kara a little jealous, especially knowing he’d probably done it with clients and co-workers. “Sorry, not everyone can enjoy their job. I hate mine. Mitch is a dick who likes looking up my skirt and down my tits.” Kara huffed at the thought of Mitch.

“He was okay. I’ve seen better come in the gym. They’re usually the early birds,” he said casually with a shrug. Giving Kara a slight eye roll at her questioning him, he crossed his arms on top of the counter and leaned in a little. “Someone of like to remain professional during work and because I actually like my work, I’m never bored. So sex can wait for after - or before depending on my shift,” Matt explained before he went back to the paperwork he had been working on. “I’m free after work. And I’ve already told you that you should quit that job already.”
