Going from “How much can I get done?” to “Who am I becoming?”
I was recently having a conversation with a friend and I was telling them how much more I can get done prioritizing myself (healthy habits) than I did working 12-15 hour days
The question you have to ask yourself is how completely you can become the person who already has it
Your vision isn’t attracted to how much you do but who you are while you’re doing it. Your identity. Your energy. Your state. This is why some people work twice as hard and still feel stuck…whileothers seem to move with ease and everything opens for them. It’s not always about effort. Though yes, from time to time effort will be required. But it shouldn’t be and endless permanent period. You can work 80 hour weeks as the version of you who is still trying to prove something. Or you can work 30 hours as the version of you who already feels secure. I think the hardest part is the very beginning, incorporating this mindset shift. In my conversations with people, and I’m not saying this applies to everyone, but I find that they do consider alot of healthy habits toxic and vice versa. And it’s not because the tasks are different but because the energy behind the tasks is different
Instead of pushing, you start moving with calm confidence. Instead of forcing, you start attracting. This is the difference between people who just do more…and people who become inevitable.
So ask yourself
What would change if you started your day as the version of you who has already won?
How would you speak?
What would you focus on?
What would you stop tolerating?
What would you finally allow yourself to receive?
Because the moment you shift your identity your actions follow & your results catch up
