From September 24th until Halloween, I'll be running a tournament to find Tumblr's favourite Halloween song. A full searchable bracket is available on Challonge, where you can also make predictions.

Pretty self explanatory, this is a poll blog for fictional dogs!

-The dogs can be from any fictional source: book, show, movie, podcast, etc. It's not limited to animated dogs either. Lassie, the Buddies dogs, or the dog from The Thing are viable submissions, because you're submitting a character. That dog is an actor and playing a character

-There will be a space to tell me about the dog you're submitting, so if for some reason you're not sure if your dog counts, you can make an argument there. Or shoot me an ask or dm

-The very standard "don't spam me/commit voter fraud" warning. Submit as many dogs as you like, but please submit each dog only once

-Submissions will be open for 1 week, starting from today (September 3rd--about 5pm PST September 10th)

he’s my best friend please consider him he’s awesome he’s such an underrated beanie baby. I’ve carried him everywhere since I was a kid. he’s basically a ripoff of Winnie the Pooh and because of this he’s known as one of the most controversial beanie babies of all time. I’ve seen people make fun of his name which is dumb, do they also make fun of Winnie the Pooh? as with all beanie babies, his beans make him slightly posable. he’s so awesome I love him and everyone I show him to loves him also. Thank you.

This tournament is to find out who the best Kim Possible character is (besides Kim herself)! Winner will go up against Kim Possible at the end of the tournament.

Wanna find out who the #1 character of 1's and 0's is? That's what we're gonna find out. Welcome to the Virtual Character Tournament!

The classification can be a bit vague, so let's get into the rules and definitions.

A virtual character is described as a character existing in a digital space (classified by the narrative as such) who primarily operates within said space.

They can have a physical form in some capacity, but it cannot take precedence over their virtual form. (If they do not have a singular physical form and are known to body-hop, that's fine.)

A franchise can have up to 3 representatives.

Be respectful of other people. The characters are fictional, but the people rooting for them are not.

No n*zis, t*rfs, tr*nsphobes, or any other related bigots. Not even as an easy springboard for another character to win.

I say virtual characters due to stipulation against AI. AI could work, but in this case, I mean fictional AIs that exist for all kinds of narrative purposes, and not current modern AIs, which exist to let techbros steal from people and cross moral boundaries.

I guess while I'm on that, let's talk about franchises or properties that are excluded from the running.

Hello everyone! Please take a look at the finished bracket!
