Okay, so! Sadly, I think I have to eliminate god of fall Ransom right away, simply because I can’t see him actually getting and setting up picnic supplies 🤣 That’s too much effort and “labor” for him bwahaha.

Next up for elimination is…

The moment he saw you, he was instantly enamoured by you but he had to know whether you'd fit in with his people and respect the forest and all the life that it housed. So, the first fawn was actually a test. And when he saw your excitement and how you cooed at the small animal from afar, he knew you were the one and he also had to see you like that again.

So, you got more small animal visitors and those visits were for him as much as for you, because seeing your face light up brightened his day. 🥰

He didn't want to wait too long though. Once he got things in order for your arrival, he made his move. He figured approaching you when you're outside somewhere else would be better than just appearing at your home, and a picnic was the perfect opportunity. Home turf advantage and all. 😌

He used his powers once again to conjure small animals, and finally, he makes his move when he catches you oggling him. Using the animals to break the ice, saying something about animals flocking to their queen, because he doesn't want to scare you off and seeing your reaction up close, he knows you're not scared. 😏🤭

Later that night, you fall asleep in his arms in his your bed in your new home, the engagement ring he's given you gleaming in the moonlight, strengthening your bond with him (and maybe allowing him to share his powers with you??).

Screaming at this tbh. The way I am hoping and praying there’s a fae king!Steve lurking in my backyard 🤣👁️👄👁️
