LUISA.
She knew she shouldnât but she was absolutely struggling to keep her laughter in check. âYeah, I had to ask myself if I was drunk and starting to see things because Iâve never seen that before either,â Lu replied, a giggle escaping her lips before she had to turn away to stop herself from guffawing. Violence was never the answer in her book, but that definitely shocked her. âWell, that was one way of slapping your point across,â Lu couldnât help but joke, shaking her own head at her lame joke. She knew it was lame, but did she enjoy it anyway? Absolutely. âMaybe itâs one of those things where theyâre mad but not âIâm gonna punch youâ mad. Maybe slapping hurts less?â Lu murmured before taking a sip from her drink. âBesides the free entertainment, though, how has your night been going?â
Mateo gave her a shrug, "I just feel like Iâm watching a cartoon is all,â He chuckled, glancing at them one more time before looking towards her. âI mean have you ever been slapped before? It doesnât feel great either.â Not that these men really seemed to even be hurting each other. âA real slap, not that bullshit.â He pointed towards them again. âItâs been pretty good. Iâm sort of glad I came out tonight. I wasnât sure if Iâd be ready for the whole social thing tonight but turns out, I needed it. You?âÂ
